The Vineyards is the best! It is a clean, friendly and sunny place. I appreciated the care they gave Mom. My mom got attention from administration to nursing to activities, even the housekeepers would chat with her. It is very clean, bright and sunny and they serve home made meals that are quite good. I miss my mom. I wanted to care for her myself, but I could not. The staff treated her like family and she loved them. It was only 15 minutes from Chillicothe. Great choice for our family.

The Vineyards at Concord was the only choice for a nursing home for my mom when she needed therapy. I have been to other nursing homes to visit and this place is the best. I was worried it was too far from where I live in Chillicothe, but the drive was only about 20 minutes to Frankfort. The staff is friendly and genuinely seemed to care about how my mom was doing and helping her to get back home. It is clean and smells good. I ate lunch with my mom there a lot and the food was home made and very good. It seemed more like a home than a nursing home. My mom has been there twice now because she needed physical therapy. The therapists are great, too. She was comfortable and well cared for. I felt good about her being there. I recommend them any time I know someone is needing a nursing home or assisted living

The Vineyards at Concord was the best place for the last days of my grandmother whom I was very close to. She was there a while back and was very sick at the time. She was not able to do much at all which was devastating to me. At her previous nursing home they put her in bed alot but at The Vineyards they put her in her chair everyday and talked to her in the social area. They read the bible to her everyday and sang gospel songs with her which was important to her. I was in college so I couldn't be there all the time but I knew she was getting the attention and care she needed. Every time I came in they were hovering nearby or over her, trying to please her and I knew she was giving them crap. She had a clean room and was given the respect she deserved (she was a feisty one and hard to please!) we relied fully on the staff and they did a great job. Though it was tough to see her there, and I miss her everyday now, I know my father made a good decision putting her there because of the caring outstanding people there in Frankfort who worked there who touched my heart by showing such compassion to my grandmother.

This is not the place for my family member. We were totally disappointed with the care he got at the Vineyards. The management were not caring, some times they acted like we were bothering them with questions. Some of the staff are down right scarey looking. Couldn't wait till we could move him out! Research a unit before you put your family member in there. This place has a one star rating. We didn't know that before we put him in there.

lo ooks very nice and clean however residents receive minimal care from staff. some residents lay in bed for 4-6 hours without care because they are too hard to take care of. alot of staff have shaky backgrounds and nurses working with suspension/restrictions on their license. pureed food is all mixed in together into one bowl and fed to residents.owners smoke in their offices but make residents go outside to smoke.
