My mother is in Sunrise of Findlay and it's been very good. It's a nice community and we're familiar with it because it's not very far from where I was raised in Bluffton. Her accommodations are very nice. They have activities, nursing around-the-clock to administer her meds, meals, laundry, housekeeping, and personal assistance.

We visited Sunrise of Findlay, and I liked it. It was a nice facility. I liked how it was set up and everything. It was clean. It seemed like there were amenities for the residents. However, it's self-pay. That's what persuaded us against going that way; we can't afford self-pay. The staff was great. She was informative and just a nice, pleasant person to talk to.

Sunrise of Findlay is nice but the rooms were on the small side. The staff seemed nice and seemed to be okay or at least the ones I talked to. The living atmosphere of the place was quaint, it was a nice-looking building. But the cost of this community is out of my price range. It also seemed like a pretty clean place to me.

Sunrise seemed like a very nice facility. I liked most everything I saw there. The dining room was nice and clean. They had activities because they were taking people out. The activity director seemed very good in trying to make people go. I thought they were reasonably priced.

Sunrise of Findlay was a lovely facility if you were just looking for a nice 1-room setting. They emphasize on trying to create a very homelike setting for mom or for dad. I would be very happy there if I was in a more confined space and was not able to enjoy apartment living. I guess it would depend on your stage in life and your health, but the residents were very happy. It was a lovely place, lovely personnel, very warm. I ran into a lady who had her father there, and she said that if you were looking for a facility for a parent, this is wonderful. I can be very happy there if I didn’t want to entertainment like in my own little facility or if I was more limited in my life.

Sunrise of Findlay was fantastic. Everyone at the facility from the chef to the woman we saw in the hallways were just wonderful and very welcoming. Our only concern was the size of the room, but they're truly fabulous. The grounds are great, and the gardens were wonderful. They were just topnotch. The activities they had were very interesting, and Mom was very excited about it. They offered us lunch to try, and it was great. We had spaghetti and meatballs and a great cake, and the cook was very funny and friendly. It was a wonderful experience.

Sunrise of Findlay was a very nice place. The staff members were great, showed me everything, and were very polite. The facility was clean. They had a lot of activities and transportation. They had a luncheon every day where everybody got together, and people that live there helped to prepare it.

We chose Sunrise of Findlay because it is close to our home, and we can see our mother. I think they are exceptional. It is perfect, and she likes it. She has a great view. It is a wonderful place. The rooms are nice and huge. She can just sit back and relax. They do crafts, and they take them places.

Sunrise of Findlay is a good facility. The staff answered all our questions. I thought it was nice that they allow pets. The dining area was nice, but she would only be allowed to have her meals in her room if she was sick. The way I understood it, she is not allowed to have that time frame to be able to adjust before she goes to the dining area. The room was nice, but it wasn't that big. They have bigger rooms but we can't afford larger rooms.

The people at Sunrise of Findlay really care. There are lots of smiles and hugs, laughing and activities galore. No one is left out unless they choose a quieter day. Families are included in the care and the fun. Dad was resistant to begin with but now instead of being home alone, he has fun and friends and has gained weight. They go on interesting trips and celebrate all of the holidays. They play cards, rock on the porch, and take drives. They even went through the Animal Safari. Dad is happy and so are we.

The Sunrise facility at Findlay was very helpful. My grandfather is slow getting around but still very sharp of mind; they were willing to accommodate his needs and interests in past hobbies. The staff were kind and eager to answer any questions, very knowledgeable about their work and their residents. Although we ended up going with another facility that was closer to his home, I would recommend this facility to anyone requiring good care for their elderly relatives.
