My parents have been part of the Dublin Retirement Village Independent Living community for nearly 2 years. During this time, we have had many challenging hurdles in regard to their physical and cognitive well-being. With my dad being diagnosed with Alzheimer's and my mom declining physically with age, the staff and management of the DRV have really stepped up to the plate. They have truly accommodated my every request in these challenging times. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for the best of the best.

Senior Star at Dublin Retirement Village was very lovely. They were wonderful, the apartments were fine, and it's worth taking a look at. The amenities are good, they seemed pretty consistent across the board, they have everything that you would need. It's a great location for me, right by where I live and work. The staff was incredibly friendly. They have field trips, they take you to the grocery stores, they have lectures, they have a gym, they own a metro park, and they have gardening.

My mother lived at DVR. While overall the facility is nice, there are very many things outdated, including the rooms. You are allowed to buy new things and they will install, but this needs to happen w/o cost to keep up with the competition. I'd say the best part of the place is location. Nice wooded areas behind, lots of trees, and a short walk to many places. The food is terrible. You will never be served the meal you are served on your tour, so be aware. And several of the things we were told would happen, never happened or hardly at all. Crafts are childish and almost non-existent. Chairs in dining room need to be not fabric but wipeable material because of accidents. There should be a dress code for dinner, nothing fancy but at least appropriate.

Senior Star at Dublin Retirement Village was very nice. It wasn't too big or too small. We looked at two-bedrooms as well as two-bedroom-with-a-den apartments, and the bedrooms were a reasonable space, the closets were huge, and there was a lot of storage space. The staff who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had lunch there and the food was very good. The dining room was very nice. We observed a couple of people having some physical therapy, as well as the tail end of a birthday celebration for people who have birthdays in May.

I love Dublin Assisted Living and Memory Care. It's really nice and the people are very nice. They seem to be very good with the residents. My husband's room is very nice. The food is good and he seems to enjoy it. They do things during the day, read little articles, play games, and do arts and crafts. They have a garden out on the same level as the memory care unit. They have a nice outdoor space, which I like a lot. The facility is really beautiful, but it's pretty pricey. The most important thing to me was the caring staff. Everyone looks clean and taken care of. Every time I visit, they're walking around and are active. The caregivers are not sitting. They walk around and interact with the residents.

I toured Senior Star and thought it was very nice, excellent, and beautiful but expensive. The staff was excellent, too. I would go there. It’s clean, well kept, and very professional. The staff was well dressed, neat, clean, and introduced themselves.

We were at Senior Star for two months in an apartment and very happy with it. The staff was very good, wonderful people. They provided cornmeal breakfast, and during the evening, we were pretty much on our own. The food was excellent. They had a gym and a lot of activities throughout the day, though we didn't utilize any of that. If people are looking for that kind of lifestyle, this place would be excellent. It was clean, and the people were very nice.

Dublin Retirement is well run, clean, and reasonably priced. They are just small 1-bedroom apartments. The staff was pretty outgoing and pleasant. The food was OK. They have art programs, exercise, and a little wood shop.

I visited Dublin Retirement Village, and it was excellent. It was just a little over priced with what we needed at this point. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They would continue to help me in the future if I needed it, whether I was there or not. I spoke with the actual residents in their rooms, and they were very happy and content there. The food was delicious. I was able to check their activities. As a matter of fact, they continued to send me their calendar so I knew it wasn't just a one-time thing. This was something they had repeatedly. It was very good and actually more than what an average person would want.

I think Dublin Retirement Village is an upscale community. They have lots to offer there. They were very informative. They want to know about what your needs and concerns were for your relatives. They know exactly what they have to offer. They have a two-bedroom unit with a living room in the middle. One bedroom on one side has a shower and a huge closet, and then the other one on the other side has a walk-in tub. There is also an area in the middle where there is a balcony where you can open up a door, and there is a little trellis there so that you won't fall. You can have a couch and a chair there. This unit also has a kitchenette. We were offered coffee and tea at the time of our visit, and they brought us blackberry cobbler that was fresh out of the oven. They invited us to come back for lunch sometime with our in-laws so they could see what the place was all about, so they were very accommodating when we were there.

We have two family members here. The staff are so caring and concerned, they have many daily activities, and they keep is appraised routinely of our loved ones. Our first visit here was a sunday, and the director Ron K. came in from his home to show us around. We were introduced to all the staff, and several residents.. We were very impressed. The staff are what makes this place 5 stars..
