I toured The Carlyle House Assisted Living Community. It's a small independently owned facility, and it was recommended by our attorney for assisted living and memory care. There wasn't any availability there. I did look at their assisted living apartments, very nice, with a very small kitchen, and food area, but it was all very nice. I did go over and look at the memory care area. It's a small facility. The person who assisted me was friendly and had lots of information.

The Carlyle House is beautiful. It is very nice, but they don't have any rooms. They have a chef, and it looks like he was preparing something really good. The interactions with the residents were a lot better than the other facilities. They all have a list of activities. They all have a schedule, but that doesn't mean they do them, but the schedule looks fine. You are only there for a little while, so you only get a quick glimpse. The facility looks really nice. The ambiance is very nice, and the staff that assisted us was very knowledgeable. His own grandmother is there. I would recommend them.
