The one that I visited was The Traditions at Bath Road. The room was so small. It was a studio apartment. There was no division between the bedroom and the living area. I can’t live in an area like that. Their activities were well planned. They have transportation if you have to go to the doctor. They serve 3 meals a day and snacks. Each of the apartments has a little kitchenette, but the living area for each apartment were small.

If your parent has mild dementia, don't let them talk you into the memory care unit. My mom is in there and its not for her because there are too many further advances cases in there. Too bad the don't have a two stage dementia unit. Its too hard on us all.

Tradition was going through renovation and it was kind of messy but I'm sure when they got the renovation done it's going to be nice. The food was good and my cousin who was there was going on therapy.

My wife was a resident of Traditions before and she was in a double room with annoying roommates because there was no single room available. The place was very close to my home which was nice and the staff was attentive. They discontinued her physical therapy because they said she had reached the plateau. They said that they could no longer keep her without being in private pay.

We love the place. It's just that my parents are not quite ready to go yet. I thought that it was very nice. I like the people there, the workers, the employees. We like the actual rooms for the residents. We like the dining area. The facility has a cheerful environment and when you step in there, it felt home like. I would recommend the place. I believe my parents would be happy there when they're ready to transition.
