Filthy place, help is mostly agency. Most rooms have no bathrooms. Several residents’ family members filed health department complaints. All carpeted and stained. Hallway and room flooded when raining. Brother-in-law died there. Staff did not do what hospice requested. 120 sq ft room houses 2 people and so much clutter can’t move around patient bed. Total fire hazard. Sister waits 45-75 minutes for aid to help her in bed pan. Bedsores worse under their care. Corporate owns several of these places, some better than others. Good so salty my sister swelled up and her copd worse. Place gave her pneumonia. If you’re in a hurry to get rid of a relative send them here

Do NOT send your loved one here. This place is severely understaffed. There are not enough aides , and anyone who needs extra care toileting, bathing or getting into a wheelchair is going to wait a long time. My mom was there for 3 months and she was often left in bed most of the day because she needs a hoyer to get in a wheelchair since she is a double amputee. She waited ages for a bedpan and sometimes ages to get taken off the bedpan. The management is just interested in making money . They keep admitting new residents even though they don't have enough aides to take care of the residents that are already there. I complained many times to the management and they eventually called me a troublemaker and threatened to block me from visiting my mom. These are the people getting paid by insurance to care for Mom and they treat us like crap! I would give this place zero stars! Before picking a nursing home, talk to several resident there about their care. Don't just trust Medicare.gov like I did. I was in to see Mom every day for 3 months and there were problems almost every day.

My mother is in Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls for rehab. We weren't able to go inside with COVID going on. We chose it because we went on the five star recommendations that the hospital gave us. Everyone has been great. She is in quarantine right now, so she can't do any activities at the moment. A couple of days from now she's gonna be able to get into the general population of it, but as of right now she's in a room by herself. She said the food is fine. Every human we've asked a question to, we've got an immediate phone call back. We got input, and any problem we've had, we've called somebody and got it fixed. They have been wonderful. Everything we need they've gone out of their way to help us with.
