I lived at Taylor Springs Health Campus. It's a very, very friendly community. The rehab was great. I was there for two months. And the food was somewhat good. The staff was good. The only thing is I would never order scrambled eggs in the morning because they were always cold and I could not get them to get those unless I went to the dining room. The facility was clean and very well made. The structure was great. Beautiful, beautiful inside. The activities were great. I went to the worship service. That was wonderful. They had bingo. They had movie nights. You can see a movie there. So, it was nice. They come and get you to exercise. The atmosphere was great. People were friendly. The staff would come and make sure you got to classes of any type if you wanted to go to the exercise and music. We go out to get a drink every Friday.

I moved into Taylor Springs Health Campus. I like the place and the rooms. It's a very beautiful place. What I don't like is that the food is not according to older people. They need a dietitian here. You don't want to get corn and baked beans in combination for older people. The management is not very prompt. It takes days to get something fixed. Independent living is like being in an apartment. They offer three meals a day. The facility is very clean. The only problem is that the management is not taking care of things right away. If there's an emergency, there's no residential management in the house. They have normal bingo, playing cards, and movies. But there's very low occupancy here. It's not worth the value because of bad management and bad food.

My mother has moved into Taylor Springs Health Campus. It seems like a nice, decent place. She is trying to get adjusted to being there and learning the routine or whatever. The interaction with the staff is good. So far, it's going well. She hasn't had any complaints. She has a decent-sized room. It has a sink, a mini fridge, and a microwave with some cabinets for snacks or dishes or whatever because she is allowed to eat in her room if she wants to. It has a full-sized bed. There is a short chest where you could set up a TV. There is a 3-inch round table with two chairs. There is a recliner with a table. It has a nice size closet for her to put her clothes in. The bathroom seems decent size. They have emergency call things at the bed, at the toilet, and I think there is one in the shower just in case, for some reason, she's not being assisted and she's in the shower and she needs help or whatever. It seems decent, and it's not too small. She has room to wheel her wheelchair around. They have different floorplans, but this room was the only available room. It's a two-story building. They have Medicaid beds, but they didn't have anything available. They have some different activities going on. My mom is getting her haircut today, so they do haircuts on Mondays. She has signed up for some physical therapy, too. They have happy hour on Fridays. I think she said they had an ice cream social there yesterday.

My mom was a resident of Taylor Springs Health Campus. They helped her with activities of daily living, provided nourishment and nutrition, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Unfortunately, they were short staffed, but the staff did as well as they could, and they tried their best to prevent her from false and unnecessary incontinence events and things like that. Her room was exceptional. They had a family brunch while we were out there and the food was delicious. They have a very nice rehabilitation gym, and a beautiful campus where you can walk your loved ones. If they have mobility challenges you can walk them around the campus. Sometimes the staff will walk your relatives around so they can get fresh air. It is a nice, locked facility where only certain members of your family have access. They also have lovely dining rooms for the staff. Then they have events for the residents that are just lovely with live music. They encourage folks to get dressed up for those events, so it gives it just a light, cheerful, going out to dinner type feel versus being in a place of confinement. Their physical therapy really did wonders for Mom. When she went in, she was unable to walk, but when she left the facility, she was able to at least negotiate a short walk into the car, so that was a tremendous accomplishment.

I saw Taylor Springs Health Campus. It was very beautiful, but pricier than the other place. The room looked good. They had a lot of different rooms to choose from. It was the outside of the rooms where you could associate, that was very beautiful. It had a nice decor to it. The staff was not as friendly as the other place. They have a bus that takes you places.

We're in the process of getting my father in Taylor Springs Health Campus. We chose it because of convenience and because it's a warm, friendly atmosphere, and all the amenities that he was looking for, all in one place. It's brand new, it's a two-year build, very fresh smelling, and clean. Everything was included. The ladies that we met were wonderful and very knowledgeable. They made us feel like we already live there. I was very impressed. I would move in there myself if I needed to. It was a nice facility.

My father-in-law was in Taylor Spring Health Campus for respite care. The ambiance is nice, the atmosphere is nice, and the staff is pretty good. He seems comfortable when he's there. He's been there a couple of times. He has no reservations about going back when we do take him there when we go on vacation. So it's been a good experience. The building is nice. The cleanliness is great. They check your temperature and make sure you're masked when you enter. So I like that, it feels very safe in light of COVID. My father-in-law seems to like the food, he seems to think that they feed him very well. He's been there for a week in March and once for a week in June.
