My mom moved into Kensington Place Retirement Community. It's beautiful. The upkeep seems to be top notch and the layout is great. The apartments are very spacious, so there's plenty of room for my mom and all her things. Everyone's been very friendly, helpful, cooperative, and pleasant. I witnessed the concert that they were having and there are also movie nights. The food looks delicious and my mom has been very happy with the selection. Of all the places we looked at, they were around the same price, but other places were smaller. I can't really say anything bad about it, it's been a wonderful experience so far.

I toured Kensington Place Retirement Community. I like the apartments. The assisted living and the memory care apartments were the same size as the independent living. They had a nice layout for community areas and a nice outside area where people could sit. It's very nice. The staff members were all friendly and they related well to the residents. The facility was very well made.

I'm getting my brother into Kensington Place Retirement Community. It looks like a nice, comfortable, and caring place. There is plenty of space in the room. It's a nice place for the elderly to live. They have a kitchen which is nicely set up. It has a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave. The staff who took me around was nice and helpful. She explained everything. They have a gym room where you can go in and exercise your body parts. There's a nice dining room, too. The meals looked really good. The people were eating. The community looked very clean. There's a place where you can do laundry and where you can put your trash and all that.

I toured Kensington Place, and it was excellent. I liked the appearance of the facility and all the features that they offered. It was just very inviting. The prices were a little steep, and that was the only disparity. Other than that, it was nice. I really liked it. They had amenities. There was a room where they do arts and crafts, and that was really nice. They had a nice courtyard and nice dining areas. The hospital was located not very far, though there were not a lot of restaurants in that area.

I like Kensington Place. The people there were great. The location is good. The rooms that I saw were nice. I think that they would be so accommodating to people, even people that didn't need help and those that needed a little bit of help, they're there to help you also. They have a library, a TV room, a pool table room, and a game room where you can play games. You can go to church services of your choice. The food was wonderful. They have different things on the menu that you can choose from. The service was nice and helpful. I'm on oxygen, and I had to move my oxygen tank all around, so they were very accommodating. I asked them about helping with bath and all that kind of stuff, even though as independent, and they have people on staff that will help you with your bath. They can help you with your laundry if you need help. It's good to know that somebody is there to help you if you need help.

Kensington Place Retirement Community is lovely. It doesn't feel institutional. The residents are all out and about and engaged. It is run by Lutheran Social Services and is a nonprofit, so it's a little bit different animal. They are on the same plane with the other facility in a different financial stratum. The people were five. The place was a five. It was very clean and well-kept. They have a nice long sidewalk outside for walking and a nice courtyard to sit outside in the back. They have great workout facilities for people to utilize. A personal trainer will assess them when they come into the building and set them up with a fitness plan. They're on staff, so they're there most days for at least part of the day if they have questions or need a little support. And if they want to set up further personal training sessions, then that would cost them, that would be a per session fee, but they have an initial like 10 hours with them just to get them established and going well on their own.

The rooms are comfortable and the common areas are very nice. The fitness room and the Media room provide lots of entertainment and exercise. There's always something going on to be involved in if you want to be actively engaging with others.

I went to Kensington Place Retirement Community. It was fabulous, and I really liked it. The staff was friendly, helpful, and definitely gave me all of the information. It was very nice. Someone was there doing an activity like for tie-dye t-shirts with some of the residents. Overall it just seemed like a very happy place.

Kensington Place was in a bad area. I would be very uncomfortable going there at night. They had a poor craft room. Everything was in bins and boxes and every once in a while they do craft activity out in the main lobby. They had a storage room in the basement, which was nice. The rooms were pretty nice, but the area surrounding it was not desirable. The place in and of itself would be one of the contenders except I would not go there because of where it is and the area.

Kensington Place was in quite a bit older building, and it was right next to a medical facility. It had a beautiful setting, backed up to a woods, there was a walking trail through there, and overall, I liked what I saw. The staff member was very helpful, and I thought she did a very good job. I just saw residents in the lobby picking up mail, the residents were a bit older, and everybody seemed to be staying in their rooms.

My mom really liked Kensington Place. They had a chef from Cameron that runs the place. The rooms were a nice size and we were impressed with the condition and how everything looked. We ate there and the food we had was really good.

I liked almost everything about The Kensington; that's where I wanted my mom to go. They had a deck where they can go out and sit, patio tables with umbrellas to get some fresh air, and a little walking path outside for exercise.

Kensington Place is the cleanest place that I have ever walked into. The staff was very friendly. However, I could not afford it. The community was beautiful and centrally located, which is nice. I wish they could make it more affordable.

Kensington Place seemed fine, but the kitchen appliances were very cheap. They seemed to have plenty of things, and there were people around.

At Kensington Place Retirement Community, they have a therapy room and a gym; the laundry room is free. The rooms are very, very nice. Their dining area is nice and open.

Kensington Place Retirement Community offers assistance if you need it. They have really nice apartments with nice views. They take you places, and they have a gym on-site. It seemed nicer, like a home. If they get worse or need assistance, they will have someone come in and help them so they don't have to move.

Kensington was very nice, it wasn’t as spacious as the others, but it was very clean. They had lots of activities. I loved their dining area, it made you feel like you were in a restaurant. It was very first class.

I am in Kennsington Place, and the people here are great -- all 120 of them. I have a 5-room apartment, and it is great. They have maid service every other week, and I have my own maid come in the other week. The food here is excellent. We have a gym. We have nursing, advisory, and entertainment 3 or 4 nights a week. We play bingo, and we have movies.

When I walked through Kensington Place, I saw their dining room. It was nice. However, for the money they asked, I didn't think it was something special. The staff and the apartments were nice. They had showed me all the things they had and they had buses to take the senior citizens to different activities. I thought that was nice. However, I'm still active and I didn't need some of the things they were offering. I just didn't have the income to live there.

My friend likes Kensington Place the best because she has a multiple room there, like the bedroom, the living room and the kitchen. It is gorgeous. They serve two meals a day in a beautiful dining room with white table clothes. They have activities for the residents and transportations for their medical concerns. The people there are very helpful. I will recommend it to others.
