My mother is a resident of the assisted living portion of the facility. The staff is amazing and made her feel welcome from day one. She loves the activities and activity staff. Some days the food is delicious but other times just awful. You have the option to choose your meals so I suppose you would learn which meals to choose and when to order soup or a chef's salad. Her room is very spacious and the maintenance man has been very helpful. One drawback is no designated kitchen area and limited electrical outlets in the rooms. The downstairs area is being remodeled. The upstairs is in desperate need of repairs. There, are no decorations when you get off elevator ( there are beautiful decorations downstairs near elevator. The door is dented, needs painted and has an old sign which is peeling. The hallway needs new decorations. I realize I listed many negatives but overall this has been a great experience for mom and it is the best value for a private room. She pays one rate for room, board, activities, nursing etc... She is treated with respect and that is very important to us.

My mother-in-law was at Red Carpet, and they were very nice. The facility was wonderful. The keepers there were wonderful. I felt that for a 90-year-old woman it would have been very good, and the staff was very friendly. But the food was terrible and went to a poor diet; they must improve the food, their food choices, and their food preparation. I felt the facility needed improvement, but I can’t really say enough about the staff; they’re wonderful. She enjoyed being there, and she enjoyed the staff.

The one we chose for my stepmom is Red Carpet. The bottom-half of it is like nursing home, the top has assisted living. It was a nice place and adequate. It was very clean. It was more home-like atmosphere. It was chosen mainly for the price. It was the most affordable in the area. The other criterion is, she has a friend who lives there too. I thought that would help her out to know somebody there and have that relationship with them. We saw a room and it was adequate. It wasn't huge but it was a nice size. We dropped in without an appointment, but the staff was very nice and very accommodating. They did give me the name to follow up with, and I followed up with that lady and she answered all of our questions. With regards to activities, they did have bingo and they did have exercise center and wellness center.

My wife is on the skilled nursing unit of Red Carpet Health Care Center. They have significant number of people with dementia and Alzheimer's there. I picked them because they're staff is just excellent, which I think makes so much difference in Alzheimer's care. It takes a special person to be able to relate to people with Alzheimer's. The facility is not brand new, but it's not dilapidated. The rooms are good and spacious. Food is especially good, too. Medicare/Medicaid came in to evaluate and gave them four and a half stars.

First impressions of the place are always good, yard and building is clean and kept up to date, facility brings a bit more "warmth" to the the place than other's I have visited. The staff is always friendly and way more patient than any facility I have visited. This was the only nursing home in close vicinity to us that was properly equipped, monitored and staffed to deal with extreme cases of Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. They have a nice feature where these patients can wear a a special bracelet that will lock the entry and exit doors when they get too close, so that they can have complete freedom around the facility without being watched or worried about. The residents seems happy, my grandmother seems happy most of the time. It's a friendly environment and she seems to have a lot of friends. They could do a little better on the senior activities they offer although they do have a decent selection I suppose. My grandmother enjoys getting her nails painted on the allotted days. Over-all this facility met the needs of our grandmother and our family the best for our area.

When I had visit the center I was greeted with warmth and appreciation of being there. I met with many. The residence there was so glad to see me wanting to visit. I felt as if they all knew me. There lobby was very well kept clean and not clutter. Decorated with many fancy decoration. I seen also that there was many activities for those who wish to join in on them. Activities like card games and others that would keep there minds so busy. They would not feel alone or helpless in my thinking. I felt that was very important for the residents who stayed there. Concern of caring when needed was very important to those who were working there. I feel I will return there someday. I will see new faces and get accuainted to all that is going on there. I hope very soon I will get to visit again if I can. I just know I will feel at home there. For much wisdom is braught forth for me to learn and understand.

My aunt was a resident of Red Carpet's hospice program. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly during this difficult time in our family's life. They were kind and compassionate. Many of us stayed the night during my aunts last few weeks of life. We have a very large family and were never told we had to leave. Instead we were offered blankets, pillows, and comfortable resting areas. Staff members also offered us refreshments and coffee many times during the few weeks we were there. There was a night when another family of another resident was staying there also, they offered those of us who wanted some sleep to go into their activities hall and rest, where there were couches and recliners so we did not have to leave the facility. Upon my aunts passing we were offered kind words, and the deepest sympathy by staff members. We were allowed our final visits with my aunt and never felt rushed as though we needed to cut our time short. Upon her passing we were asked to leave the room for approximately 20 minutes in which time staff made her look clean and comfortable. Staff offered any family members who wished to assist the option of helping. Once our visits were over they made the final arrangements as comfortably as possible, never pressuring us or making us feel unwelcome.
