We moved my mom here a couple of months ago and Chippewa Place has been such a blessing. The residents and staff have been so welcoming and we are finally starting to see my mom come out of her shell again. For an independent retirement community you get so much. My mom is constantly on the go doing different activities. She especially loves playing pinochle with a group of ladies, and the chair tap dance classes! Although she is a picky eater she does usually like the dinners but if not she will get a hotdog or a tossed salad. Overall for the money you really can't beat it!

My mom is at Chippewa Place. They were good when she moved in a year ago. However, the food is horrible. It was nice when she first moved in, but something changed, and everything went down the tube. There are a couple of staff that are very nice though. They offer one meal a day. It's just one item and that's it. If you wanted something else, it was a frozen pizza, a hotdog, or a hamburger. If you don't eat what they're cooking that day, that looked bland and disgusting, I wouldn't even try it. For activities, they do music probably twice a month in the summer and winter, and they do chair exercising, but that's pretty much it. They take them shopping on a bus if they want to go to the store, so they have that available.

Chippewa's a hidden gem for seniors, it's located near the old stadium in Brecksville- my aunt lived her almost a decade ago, now my mom. You're not going to find a more caring team of employees, amenities offered for the price, or beautiful grounds Chippewa maintains. Happy & satisfied.

Chippewa Place has become family. My Grandmother moved here from Seattle 3 years ago and from day one, the staff made her feel at home the moment she arrived. They are constantly providing awesome concerts & activities! She was befriended by a group of lady's her first day and to this day they all go out for lunches and have wine on Friday's in one of the social lounges. This is most certainly where you want your Family to feel confident that they get the care and support they need.
Very nice.

My friend has lived at Chippewa for 6 years, she loves her spacious apt/home and each time I visit the facility is very clean. The staff treats her more like family rather than a tenant and all departments are always friendly.

Chippewa Place is an old, established, privately-owned company. The staff seems to be very caring people, and we’re happy with the surroundings; it’s a very clean place. The rooms looked fine; my sister-in-law seems to be fine with the food. I haven't heard any complaints from her.
