Care is not that good. Activites director and Social services director are inconsiderate, hard to work with and gang up on family of residents when they are called out on their inconsistencies. Easter Sunday and my mom was still in bed in her nightgown at 1:00 and they were just bringing her lunch. So many inconsistencies at this place and don't expect to get a straight answer from anyone at this place. Care is not the greatest. If my dad would let us move my mom and it wouldn't be such a hassle we would get her out of this hole of a place. Rooms are not kept clean and cramped. Some staff are ok others are not helpful or friendly.

Over the two years that my mother has been here we have had to make frequent phone calls due to issues with pain control. I have been on the phone with her on several occasions and waited over an hour for someone to come into her room.

We sent my grandmother here because she did outpatient physical therapy there and they were amazing. However, after breaking her pelvis in 4 places and needing to be there for several wks, this is a very different experience. The first day she was there she waited 12 hrs for any pain medication. She was sobbing because she had asked and asked and asked them to give it to her. She was suppose to have it every 4 hrs. She also was bed ridden and peed and waited 2 hrs to have someone change her. This is her 3rd day and I'm about to find another place for her to go if they don't even do the necessary things in taking care of all patients... including my grandmother. I'm super disappointed.

This is a beautiful facility. Unfortunately, there are not enough aids to adequately take care of the residents. There is a real disconnect between those in the office and those actually doing the care. Also, the doctors orders are not always followed.

This place is unbelievably nice and clean on the inside and out. My family was blown away by our tour. Although I had little prior experience with this type of place, I was quickly made comfortable and they answered any questions that we had. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and caring. You can tell that they really enjoy and are passionate about what they do.

They were very kind and nice at Kingston of Ashland. I was there with my wife everyday for six weeks before she passed away. They were excellent. In fact, I wrote them a letter at the end and told them how well I appreciated their service. If I needed to get her from the wheelchair to the bed, I just ring the bell, and there was always somebody within 2-3 minutes asking what they could do. The dining room was a nice bright room, and people were getting good care. We had a room, and it was beautiful.
