"I like Rowntree Gardens. It is very good. I like the concept. They have shared rooms, which are nice. Also the sliding door to the garden is nice. The dining area is very accessible to the patients. I like that, too. I like the lady who gave me the tour. Each room is accessible to the garden, they just have a walking area. It's very relaxing for the clients. They have a gazebo garden there. Families can visit in that area, too. The building is one level, so that's nice. I didn't see any staff because of the COVID."

"We liked Extended Care Hospital Westminster because they had 5 stars in their rating. I liked the rooms, the people, and the staff, but Mom did not qualify for skilled nursing. The rooms were hospital-like. "

"Santa Anita was good, and I think it’s on the ground level. Each studio or apartment has access to the patio, and it’s better as you can just walk out to the courtyard. The manager was very helpful. "

"Clear View was where my husband was. It’s been owned by a family for about a hundred years. The rooms were very nice. It was very clean, and the nursing there was very nice. The staff was very nice. They did physical therapy for him. They don’t have the nursing, the medications, and all of the injections to take care of him. It was very nice, except they couldn’t accept us. "

"My mother was at Kei-Ai South Bay Healthcare Center for six days. Everything was wonderful there. It was clean. The staff was super nice. Everybody was very nice. They took really good care of her for the short time that she was there. They had bingo and a dinner thing that they have once a month where you can bring your family in and they fix it all with candles and tablecloths like a restaurant. They had two and three to a room. It was just a bed, a nightstand, and a TV per patient."

"Initially, the admissions's coordinator met with us to discuss my dad needs, our concerns, and to answer our questions. She assured us that the center staff would coordinate their care of my dad with his doctor. That is exactly what they did. They kept accurate records, so I was always able to corroborate the doctor's orders with how they were caring for my dad. Also, my dad is a very picky eater but he ate well at this center and told me he enjoyed the food. The meals were consistently well planned, fresh and served with care. The nurses keep my dad clean and his bedding was always clean and neat. The facility is a nice size, not too large, with sufficient staff. It is nestled away in a quiet area near the hospital, and residents have a nice patio-type space for outside seating, walking and activities. "

"I like that Rosecrans Care Center is very clean, and they seem to be very organized. The social worker who I've been working with has been very attentive to our needs prior to getting my mom placed there. She was very instrumental in helping us get her admitted. The staff seemed very, very friendly and attentive to her needs too. The waiting area is very nice, clean, and organized. When you walk back to the resident's rooms, the area in the hallway smells very clean. It doesn't have any foul odors or anything. That is one thing that I really what I like. When I visited one time, they were playing bingo. They had her sitting out there, so she could hear and observe them."

"I'm here in West Gardena Post Acute for four days now. I don't like the place. The first room they moved me to when I first came here was nice, but they told me I couldn't stay, so they moved me to another room, and it's horrible. Their TV is hard to work with. I haven't found the program I wanted to watch. There are so many boxes. When I brought up something that I wanted to watch, they said I had to pay for it, and I didn't like that. The staff members are very uneven. Some were very good, while others should be doing something else for a living. The room they put me in is small, and in the back, there is nothing to look at. I would not recommend it. Some of the rooms I saw looked pretty nice, but this particular one I'm stuck in, is not what it seems."

"My father was at Windsor Gardens Convalescent Center of Hawthorne. The facility had physical therapy and it was very clean. They had great customer service and gave attention to the residents. Although at times, they were understaffed and they could not attend to every resident. Nonetheless, my dad pretty much enjoyed everything and he did not have any issue. They were excellent and great. "My mother age 86 fell and broke her leg. She went to Little Company of Mary, where a rod was put in her leg. Little company of Mary gave me a list of 10 Nursing Rehab Centers for my mother to transaction to. I checked out all 10 locations and chose Heritage. I am so glad I chose Heritage. The employees make this place a good nursing home. I would visit my mother about 4 times a week. I estimate a 1/3 of the time I entered mom's room. Some employee was in the room helping her. Mom already had a mild case of dementia and wasn't always the easiest person to deal with. All nurses and caregivers helped her with compassion. One nurse assistant took the time to braid my moms hair so she would look nice. Also if i had a request for my mom. It was taken care of within 3 minutes. The rehab people were great too. The food is good. There were plenty of activities to keep her occupied. There's even a lady whose sole job is to make sure everyone is happy and encourages them to go to activities. Even Elvis showed up to sing to the elderly. "

"This facility was located in Torrance, CA. It was close to our home so my family decided that she stay here. One of our family members had cancer so we were unable to provide a healthy living for our grandma. I don't know if she enjoyed living there because she was so good at hiding her emotions. I felt bad for her because she didn't speak English so it was hard for her to communicate her emotions to the nurses and fellow residents. The nurses and employees at Vermont Care Center were very kind and affable. "

"My dad was in Driftwood Healthcare Center for rehab in the past. Everything there was pretty good. It was the first time we really had any dealing with a rehab community and everything was fine. The staff was very good, our needs were met, and the people got back to me about different things. They didn't have as many activities as the other place we visited, but then again it's a smaller place. They did have activities like cards, bingo, dominoes, they had social time or social hours, and that was basically it. His bill is all covered by Medicare."
