I was at Good Samaritan Society-St. Vincents. I liked their library, but they didn't have enough nurses. The nurses were really overworked for the amount of patients they had. The food was good. It was bland, but maybe because of my diet. I had a low sodium diet. I was in a room by myself and there's a bathroom connected to the patient next to me. It had a bed, a TV, a dresser, and one chair. The nurses were very friendly.

It had a comfortable feeling to it, but the staff was not friendly and was fairly rude. They do get the residents involved in alot of activities and try to get them out for meals and to therapy, which is a great service. But my grandma was suppose to be walking to meals and there were numerous times that I was there visitng her, and no one ever even offered her to walk to meals and when the facitilty was confronted with it they told me she probably refuses all the time, which in fact was not her case she was never offered at least when I was there. So there are many ups and downs, it is hard for a person to adjust to the change of a nursing home.
