I am so thankful for Spring Arbor of Raleigh. My mom moved in approximately three months ago and is absolutely thriving. The facility is quaint and extremely clean. They have fun, novel activities, a wide variety of high quality food options, and the care is top-notch. Every single staff member takes a genuine interest in really getting to know their residents and meeting their individual needs. They are all so kind, transparent, organized and responsive. Thank you, Spring Arbor of Raleigh!

My Mother recently passed away at Spring Arbor of Raleigh for three years. All of the employees at Spring Arbor took very good care of Mom and treated her like family. If you are looking for a place for your parent or grandparent, I highly recommend Spring Arbor. The first time I toured Spring Arbor i knew that this would be the right place for Mom. Once she moved in, we were put at ease because the staff met all of her needs. We were confident in their care for Mom and we did not worry about her at all. It is an amazing facility and amazing staff! When she first moved in, she was in a regular room with a roommate for about two years. She enjoyed lots of activities, socializing with other residents and enjoyed her time there. The care she received as well as the housekeeping staff and the meals provided were all outstanding! As her Dementia progressed, she was moved to the cottage where she received around-the-clock personal and medical care. She enjoyed every day there and she was treated like family. I highly recommend Spring Arbor if you are looking for a wonderful place for your family. We are thankful for each staff member at the Spring Arbor. They are SIMPLY THE BEST!! Thank you so much, Frank, Rob and Mike Ferguson

We've chosen Spring Arbor of Raleigh for my mom. It's very close to where my sister lives. If my mother needs anything, she can take it to her, because it's like five minutes away. I have not been able to see the room because of COVID. I am not quite sure about the staff; some of them are helpful, some of them are not, but I think it's that way any place. I only met two people the day we visited my mother; the rest I just talk to on the phone. The ones I've met were nice. Some of the ones I dealt with have been nice, but some of them who are actually working with my mother have not been nice to her. They came in and took blood in the middle of the night, and they didn't turn the light out. My mother asked if they would please come and turn the light out, and they didn't; she asked again, and they didn't; the third time they came in, they said, "Well, we didn't come because you're just being nasty." My mother is now in the hospital because they were not giving her the proper medical attention. Her blood pressure was 90/30, she passed out, and they kept telling her she needed to get up and do things for herself, and she almost died. I have reported this to the people there, and they've assured me that if my mother goes back, they will be better. They've been very nice the past few days because I told them I was not happy with the way they've been treating my mother. She needed help to get out of bed to go to the bathroom. She is getting physical therapy twice a week. They do come in and help her when they feel like it. It's mainly the people on the weekend, I think, who really don't want to do anything. The food varies. She had diarrhea for three days, and she asked to have something to fill her stomach, and they brought her chicken Alfredo and garlic bread. She asked for things like soup that she could drink with a straw, but they bring her whatever they want to -- and the food is not that good either. She said the room is small, like a hotel room, and they have a front porch that has rocking chairs on it.

My mom moved into Spring Arbor of Raleigh. Her experience has been very good, but it could have been better if not for COVID. I mean we're not allowed to visit at this time. I think they have recent activity restrictions. Some of the family is able to visit, but it's only for a short time. Otherwise, it's been a great experience. The staff is very eager to work with you, and very interested in getting to know the person to determine the level of care that they need. The room looked clean. My mom is happy with hers, and she has a private room with a bathroom. I think they're a great resource, they're very friendly and have been communicating with me throughout the whole process, working with the doctor and everything. They're very flexible in accommodating our physical needs.

My aunt was a resident of Spring Arbor of Raleigh. They were not organized at all. Like they lost her clothes and they said that they couldn't find them. Physically, the place was very nice and clean. Their only activity that I saw was the residents having a sing-along. I think that they need many more professionals like CNAs, because the aides can only do so much. The food was good.

Spring Arbor of Raleigh's rooms were spacious, clean, and updated, with a nice bathroom and shower. The food looked great and the dining room was very nice. They also have ice cream socials and all kinds of neat stuff. They have a great director who does a lot with them. The staff members interact with and talk with the people. They seem really good. They have several different rooms and areas for different functions.

We moved our mom here at the end of last year. John was great, he made us feel welcomed immediately and had a no pressure approach to selling. The Executive Director Sandra is funny, and I've seen her dance with residents! The entire staff is wonderful, but there are a few that are down right super special! Sam and Loreal always make us feel like we are the most important thing to them, and they make mom feel like she is truly their family as well. The food was good, the fried fish is the best! This was a stressful choice, but we made the right choice.

My mother has lived at Spring Arbor of Raleigh for 4 years. We are happy with the care and attention she receives. She lived briefly at a Carillon Assisted Living facility nearby. We did not have a good experience there, so we moved her to Spring Arbor thinking it would be temporary. We ended up being very happy there, overall. The facility shows some wear and tear in places, and my mother is not always thrilled with the food. But it's the care that matters most. And overall, the care is very good.

Our respite experience with Spring Arbor of Raleigh was very good. The community wasn't brand-new but not old, so it's in good shape. It was clean and comfortable. The majority of the staff I interacted with were helpful. Like when I asked a question about where something was, they would walk me there. The extra effort is good. My father was there for respite care, and he was probably ready for memory care, but they took him on for regular care. I want to reward them for taking on that challenge, they went the extra mile to make it work. They went above and beyond for the level of care I registered for.

I was very happy with the facility. The staff was warm and friendly. Mom was very happy there. She enjoyed the activities and field trips. After her passing I felt I wanted other know what a enjoyable stay, most of all I had comfort state of mind that Mom was in the best hands.

Spring Arbor of Raleigh is not good. The staff is inattentive, and they’re not timely when called. Also the food variety and service are not good. However, the facility is nice and clean. They need to improve on the variety and quality of food and on the timeliness when staff is called.

We went to Spring Arbor because a friend’s grandmother was there. It was a very nice facility with very nice people, and my mother really liked it. She wanted to go there, but as all dementia patients and older people think, she was afraid it was going to cost her too much. We saw some of the rooms, and they were very nice. We just dropped in, and they happened to take us on a whole tour, so they were very accommodating. They have a patio and a lot of activities. It looked like they had a great social director and have sitting rooms and TV rooms, which looked really good. It was very expensive.

My aunt and my mom were at Spring Arbor from 2002 until this year. It was a little bit further away -- like 5 miles from my house -- but I like it the best. I still like it. I'm just sorry that they both had to leave. They worked with my mom and my aunt. They were roommates. It was a very good facility. After a few years, my aunt moved to another facility, and then my mom left there this year to go to a rehab facility.
