Pisgah Manor at Pisgah Valley Retirement Community

Pisgah Manor was a little crowded. They had single rooms, but most of them were doubles. They looked like hospital rooms. They each had their own bathroom attached. They had lots of ability to use the hoyer lift. There were hoyer lifts all over the place, which was important to us. The young woman who took us around didn't seem to interested in helping us out. So, it wasn't nearly as impressive as some of the others. It was a clean facility. They had good safety protocols that I could tell, but unlike the others, the people just didn't seem very happy. Their memory care residents were separated from their other residents (there were more residents there who needed memory care than regular care). They had a beautiful facility though. It was quite lovely. They didn't have much outdoor space. The staff person wasn't forthcoming. They didn't show us too many common areas.
