I went to Appalachian Brian Estates. The tour went very well. I'm just not ready to do something like that yet. I also have animals, and I need some place for the animals to go. The place was nice and clean. One of the things I didn't like was the dining room. It didn't have walls. It was out there in the open. However, the staff members were very nice and very accommodating. They offered meals, too.

I toured Appalachian Brian Estates for myself. I'm a vegetarian and they're not willing to deduct the cost of food from the monthly fee. So, I can't go there. They covered everything, but I can't pay their monthly fee, plus go out and buy groceries. And I don't want to do all the cooking either. The person who gave me the tour was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I saw activities such as people making puzzles. I saw a workout room and a library. The decorations were lovely.

Based on the tour at Appalachian Brian Estates, I was one hundred percent pleased. The staff showed me four different rooms. took me outside, and showed me the gardens. They also showed me the library. They've got a nurse on staff 24/7. They have a salon that's open. He provided me with an activity schedule and took me to the dining area. One thing that I thought was really good was they didn't lose a single patient during COVID. The thing that struck me the most was it was bright, and the atmosphere was what I was looking for. The staff members were wonderful. The actual director was the one that took me around and gave me the tour. Then I met three other staff people. I talked to some of the residents that were staying there, and I went to the exercise room; it was pleasant. The residents were very pleased. On the phone and in person, they were very accommodating and nice. I was provided with a menu. I didn't witness nor taste any of the food that they provide. The room was like a little apartment where my mom will have her own bathroom, a very small stove, and they'll check up on her. There'll be a lot of fun things for her to do.
