My mother-in-law was not happy at all with Elderwood at Waverly. They put her in quarantine and told her she would be out in X amount of days. Then they put her back in and never told her why. When she would call for them, they would tell her she wasn't their only patient. She was there for almost 3 weeks. They had speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. They were very understaffed. The air conditioning in both of the rooms she was in was broken for days. They need more staff, and they should have better communication skills with people.

the best care I have ever seen in a memory unit. The staff and cna's are top knotch and very caring and compassionate. The activities staff keep the residents engaged and provide and all round family atmosphere. I cannot say enough good about this facility. My mother was there over a year and I also was very present on a daily basis and saw much.
