Welcome to Ava Dorfman Senior Citizens! Founded in 1957, The Ava Dorfman Community Center is a not for profit organization that provides programs, activities, and services to active 50+ adults. Our mission is to reach out to those in the Oneida county community. With daily activities for the elderly, to events open to the general public, there is something for everyone at Ava Dorfman.
The Ava Dorfman Senior Center is a not for profit organization, committed to providing advocacy services and activities to adults age 50 and older that reflect senior citizens diverse needs and interest, enhance their dignity, support their independence and encourage their involvement in the community. We are also committed to promoting and preserving wellness for each and every member.
The Ava Dorfman Senior Center has a little something for everyone. We have many activities going on in the center any day of the week, from card groups, Wellness Program (classes for all levels), Lunch and Learn, diverse group of speakers, WII bowling, Breakfast Buddies, trips and so much more.
