Left my father in a room for 4 hours while he aspirated With no supervision. Dr clueless!!!!!! listened to his breathing and left. When I arrived and saw him I immediately told them to call an ambulance. ER Doctors could not believe Not one medical paid employee AT THIS BAPTIST HOME AKA MEADOW AT BROOKMEADE did not call him an ambulance instead wanted to wait another 2 plus hours for a chest X-ray. End result full blown pneumonia and a serious infection along with a UTI. He passed within 24 hours of leaving this nursing home. A place to put your enemies by the way this place treats their residents

Poor staff to resident ratio Residents are stuck in wheelchairs. Many Residents do not have proper fitting non slip footwear. Many are wearing slipper socks. One resident was outside in wheelchair with only socks on. no footwear. Poor communication Staff lacks depth of nursing care. Unclean rooms beyond the public's eye.

Our grandfather stayed there for a few years and he was well cared for. They made him very comfortable and always had activities for him to do. The staff are very friendly and care very much about the residents. The rooms are well kept and many areas have been renovated. Overall this is a great place for elderly family members to stay and feel safe.

We had a very bad experience here. I couldn’t find staff when she needed something, moms room dark and dirty, and in our opinion, she received poor care. Couldn’t talk to anyone in authority. In just a few days they lost a couple pairs of new shoes. They couldn’t even find her walker. Mom ended up in hospital after about 3 weeks. She was there for rehab and obviously did not go back.

Although the home appears well maintained there are many issues. They have shut down the main dining room and many residents are now eating in their rooms, There are some great nurses but some are not so great. Many occasions were residents wait 45 minutes to go to the bathroom. If you are checking out a nursing home I recommend asking to view the dining facilities when residents are actually dining. Also try to go by the bathrooms to see how long people are waiting. The one plus they have is the private rooms. They used to be very good but things have changed. Disappointed

Baptist Home is very nice. They have an excellent memory care program, and they have a different approach towards Alzheimer's, which was nice. The cost is high though. The staff is very knowledgeable, very friendly, and excited about their program, and they're very nice. It's a little bit of an older establishment, but the rooms are very nice. They have similar activities as other facilities.

The Baptist Home at Brookmeade was very close to us. It had a very good reputation in the area as a very well nursing home. It had private rooms and they have well and very enthusiatic staff. It also has a very nice surrounding and setting.

The Baptist Home is a very nice and clean place. They have a church and my mom wants to go to church every week, so she is very happy with that.. They have activities for seniors and she seems to like it.
