My dad is in Seneca Hill Manor and they are great. I am very happy with everything about them. The communication has been great. They have activities and right now they are doing virtual Facetime for families and window visits.

Don't send your loved one here for long or short term care. The staff do as they please. Know one is on the same page. Its just an awful place. So glad my loved one is outta this place. Never to be back at senca hill.

My mom was a resident there. The members of my family were in and out at all times of the day. They took excellent care of mom. If she didn't care for the food they always sent it back and they brought her something else of her liking.

I would not recommend this facility. My mom was a resident here for just about 6 months. Although very clean for a nursing home facility, they are extremely understaffed. Nights and weekends are especially a serious problem when a resident can go for extremely long periods of time without being checked on or attended to if needing something such as going to the bathroom. I was assured by the upper management people that my mom would receive excellent care and that it was the best place for her to be when she passed away. On the contrary, the staff failed my mom miserably, as she sat and screamed in pain from impending sepsis. The outsourced nurses got to her when they could and made her wait for morphing while they attended to scores of other patients. I made the decision to transfer my mom to Oswego Hospiral by ambulance and it was the best decision I could have made. She received outstanding care there by a caring and attentive staff of nurses and doctors as she passed away. I was at Seneca Manor on a regular basis even though I live out of state. Many of my mom’s friends and relatives visited her all the time. They, too, were dismayed by what they saw at Seneca Manor. I feel very sorry for those residents who have no advocates there and are not able to speak up for themselves. No nursing home is ideal, but Seneca Manor is one to avoid putting your loved one in. The care you would want them to receive is extremely inadequate.

The third floor staff was attentive and personable in caring for my grandmother for 5 Years. They were her family and she loved them dearly, as did we. I could not have asked for a more amazing place for my grandmother to call her home. The Manor was truly a godsend for our family. We could never repay them, or thank them enough. I miss visiting the manor and seeing all of the friendly faces. I would not have been comfortable leaving my grandmother in the hands of anyone else.

Seneca Hill Manor is very clean, and the staff is nice. The food is terrible and institutional. The staff is really nice. It's a great big area, and they have assisted living, too. My mother happens to be in the nursing home/rehab area. The grounds are kept up nice.

The facility on the hill is wonderful. Very clean and aesthetic filled with great staff. There was a table ready for us when we arrived, as we were having cake, and they jumped to help us get ready. The resident expressed his gratitude of the staff and faculties as he always does when we arrive. It's nice to see him taken care of and happy.

My grandmother, who had a stroke several years prior and lost some cognitive and motor function, now lives at this facility. Her impairments include short term memory loss, difficulty with speech synthesis, inability to walk (she uses a wheel chair), and impaired fine motor function. She can remember events from the past, but has basically no recollection of any events after her stroke. She seems happy at the facility, which provides periodic (but not remarkably frequent) events, day trips, outings, and game tournaments. Cable TV is provided for the residents. I have no experience with the food, but she has reported it as relatively mediocre. Oxygen taps and emergency meters are available in all of the rooms should a resident need them. The facility also has holiday decorations and events. My experience has been that the employees are very friendly, and I have never heard any reports of abuse or theft. Numerically, I would rate it as 6/10.
