Presbyterian Homes & Services was clean and well-kept. It was well organized as far as community rooms and living spaces. They had plenty of activities. Mom liked the room that she is going to have very much. She was happy to know that she could bring her own stuff. She liked the fact that there was going to be more care, so she felt safer. The residents we saw were from all stages of assisted living and we appreciated that. We liked the fact that it was a come and go building. You didn't have to feel locked up. You could go out when you wanted to. Mom liked the freedom of it. The facility looked great. It looked more like an apartment building. We had very few questions because the staff answered everything completely. Kelly was wonderful and super caring. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.

My mother was in Presbyterian for rehab. It looked very modern and clean. She liked the people there, and she said the food was good. It was 20 minutes away from her home. It was quite expensive but top notch.

I think they need to be more in tuned with their patients n their families.... Definitely need more staff as patients get overlooked in their care..... They need more of a variety in their menus as these are rotated every 3 weeks, need to cook food on premises n set up special dietary menus for those on them.... Higher ups need to communicate with family of patient in their facility and handle family's concerns more efficiently I would like to see more private rooms with telephone n TV I'm very disappointed with the care my family member has received since their stay here.... They definitely need changes made.....

The nurse's aides at Presbyterian Home were very good. My mother needed some help in the beginning, and the rehab program got her back on her feet. I was not too impressed with some of the administrative decisions, but the nurses were good.

The caring and considerate nature of both the assisted living as well as skilled nursing facility staffs at this continuing care retirement are excellent. While the nursing home decor is currently outdated, major renovations will be occurring in the first months of 2014. The administrators of both the assisted living as well as the skilled nursing facilities are excellent and treat their employees and residents with the same respect and dignity that you would come to expect of a first rate organization. I highly recommend this facility.

The Presbyterian Residential Community offers a great number of resources for their residents. Not only is there a nursing home for those in greater need, but retirement apartments are available for those who are more self-sufficient. On site there are a great number of activities for the residents to partake in, and the open property allows exercise like walking, biking and running to be achievable. Never am I worried about my loved one's well being. Each room is equip with an emergency switch with a chord attached to it, so in case a resident falls and is unable to get up, they can activate the switch and help will be sent to the. In my experiences with the staff, all workers are charismatic and genuinely happy and willing to help residents with whatever they may need. A necessary component of an assisted living facility is that the family of the resident feels safe and at ease with their loved one being a resident. The Presbyterian Residential Community fulfills this need.
