I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My father was a resident until he passed away on August 12, 2022. I lived in Virginia and he was in New York with no family or support system. Every time I went to visit him it was an amazing visit. There was never a complaint from him and the staff loved him like he was their own family. I can't say enough of the love and show of condolences when he passed away last Friday. The chaplain had fond memories of him and I can tell that even though we were not there for his last days as his passing was unexpected, he was surrounded by his family. Thank you Linden...thank you!!!

Amazing care. The staff is nurturing to my uncle and caring. It is king of love and compassion. I would like to give a big thanks to Ms. Gillian for her warm welcome. She gives all information I need. always answer my calls when I called. My uncle is getting attention from the staff. They took time to talk to him. The Gym part is really helpful. I would recommend this facility to anyone in the future.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I would have liked to know that when we decided to get my Dad out of this place and I advised the social worker we would not be going through with a Medicaid application that they would be asking for additional money for my Fathers. I already had paid $1186 for the month of Feb and we took him out on Feb 20th. Then today I get a call I owe additional money? WHAT FOR My husband went up and took him out of there before he ended up seriously ill or hurt! Not to mention he lost an additional 7lbs in the 20 something days he was there for rehab. Food cold they ignore the patients unless family member is there The person that answers main phone is terrible. Constantly hangs up then if you get through to floor a complete run around to get answers as to what is going on. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience. THE ONLY GOOD THING I WILL SAY is the place is very clean and does not smell. Other then that would check other places out..

I am/was a resident of this facility

I've been here at Linden Center going on three years, and I don't like it. I've got no assistance from the social worker with finding me a place, and the physical therapy sucked. I'm not getting the physical therapy that I need. I have a shared room enough for me and my roommate, and we get along really well. The cleanliness is OK. I use Access-A-Ride when I need to go out, but if I'm being taken to the hospital, they do arrange for an ambulance. My CNAs are all wonderful, but they are overwhelmed because there is insufficient staff, and the food is terrible. I'm trying to find the owners, and I'm going to make a complaint directly to them.
