I like that the Argyle Center Assisted Living Program allows you to come and go as you please. They offer different classes to keep you engaged. They pretty much have a private room set up. It was only a 35-bed facility. The least thing we liked about it, was that it was so far located in the country. There weren't many shopping areas there. The staff that assisted us was very helpful and knowledgeable. The facility was dated.

My mother didn't like Argyle Center Assisted Living Program. She had to be in a room with another person. The facility was a little old, but the layout was fine. I didn't go inside one of the apartments; I just looked through the door. The staff during the tour was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. The dining area was fine, and it was clean. They had books, a TV, and puzzles there.

We put my mother in Pleasant Valley assisted living. She's been there for about two weeks now and making friends, so she seems to enjoy it. Her room is nice and she can decorate it any way she likes. What I like best is that they have a nice dining area that's open all day long and where she can always get snacks in addition to her meals.
