The facility is like a hotel and the staff are very attentive. My mother is in a great environment and is finally being catered to after so many years of looking after others. The facility offers many amenities such as live entertainment, exercise classes, a daily "Happy Hour", movie nights and much more. My mother says, "Nobody likes to be away from home, but being in a place like this makes you feel as close to home as possible!" If you are looking for a place for your loved ones, there is no better place. JFBSR

I liked Brandywine Living at Voorhees a lot. The rooms were very nice. The atmosphere was very nice, but the room could have a little bit more. It had just a very, very small refrigerator under the counter. They could give a little bit more for the person who's living there. Everything in the room (the furniture and everything), is geared towards the age of the people who are going to be there; it makes you feel comfortable. The staff was very good, presented very well, and very polite.

Brandywine Living at Voorhees was like heaven. It was so upscale. Brandywine was like the rich and luxurious. They had like the baby grand piano, they had chandeliers, expensive furniture, it was just like the creme de la creme; that was beautiful. The reason why my mom didn't stay there, or I didn't follow up with it, was because it was just so expensive. It was like $7,500 a month for a studio apartment. It was so beautiful, the lady that showed me the tour was very understanding, I told her exactly what my mother made. She was willing to reach out to her manager to see if they could come down on the price. I mean, they were really working to get my mother there, but I didn't feel comfortable. It was just so far out of her price range. It's very clean, and they wanted to give me a COVID test right away before I could walk in the door. It was just perfect. They have an activities director, they do activities with the residents that live there. They have a bus that will take the people to and from their appointments if they decide to use doctors that were not in-house. They had their own in-house doctors and nurses. My mother loves to read. She's a retired schoolteacher, so they had a plethora of books and novels on each floor for the residents to read, and they had fine dining. It was just spectacular. Oh, my gosh, you walk in there, it was like you walked into the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

I moved my parents to Brandywine Voorhees during the Covid pandemic. It was a tough decision that was made easier by the caring and professional staff at Brandywine. Bridget started by giving us a virtual tour of the community and then we were able to come to the building and meet their team in their beautiful library. On move-in day the whole team helped get mom and dad settled in their new apartment. They even planned a move-in day dinner for the whole family. What could have been a stressful day was turned into a fun family event. It has now been 2 months and we know we made the right choice. I am happy to recommend Brandywine to friends, family, and anyone else who is interested in a senior community for the active senior in their life.

Our 87 year old dad has been living very comfortably in Brandywine at Voorhees for the past 2 months. Although he was reluctant to leave his home, he has settled in and is a very happy resident there. The staff was extremely helpful every step of the way making for a very smooth transition. Melissa, the Executive Director of the facility, was instrumental in helping us select the right size room for Dad and is always available to answer any question promptly either via phone or email. She is acutely aware of the needs of each resident. Bridget was our go to person from the first day we toured the facility, simplifying the admissions process. In summary, we feel very comfortable knowing that our dad's needs are met beyond our expectations!

We placed my father-in-law at Brandywine Senior Living. It is nice. The people are pleasant. The residents have nice things to say about it. It is conveniently located between our house and my brother-in-law's house. They have Wii bowling, field trips, movie theater, card clubs, happy hour, and a bar where I guess men would get together during sporting events. Brandywine Senior Living is very favorable. It is very nice.

The people that chit chatted with me at Brandywine were OK. One of the most important things about seeing a place is being able to see a room. The thing that annoyed me is that she did not have a room to show us. The one bedroom she showed was lived in by somebody, and it was extremely small. I don't know if we can get our television in there with the two seated sofa, a chair, and a table. Our twin beds wouldn't fit in there. The point was she knew we were coming because we had an appointment, but she didn't have a room to show us. She showed us the physical therapy there, and it looked like a very small room. It only had one table in there for somebody to lie down on. They had a pool which is very small where maybe five people can fit in. It is a large bathtub as far as I'm concerned. They did have a lot of activities there, so that is a plus. They have movies every night, and they have swimming twice a week. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy. They have a library and some kind of discussion groups. Their activities impressed me. We did have a meal, and what is nice about it is they have an all-day menu. They also have scheduled meals, but you can come in anytime you want.

My mom moved into Brandywine almost a year ago, after I realized she was no longer able to live alone. The facility, in Voorhees, is more like a four star hotel than an assisted living facility. The building is beautifully decorated with French style furniture and crystal chandeliers. To one side of the foyer is a lovely library with a fireplace where residents can entertain guests. The other side of the foyer is a music room with a baby grand piano and comfortable furniture to relax while listening to musicians and singers that are brought in to entertain the residents. There is a fabulous fish tank in the foyer area with beautiful tropical fish. Comfortable wing chairs are arranged nearby so residents can watch the fish and visit with friends. The, nearby, dining room has tables with clean tablecloths and fresh flowers each day. There are flower boxes lining the dining room with real orchids. There is a patio in the back of the building with tables and chairs where residents can enjoy the sun and good weather with friends. There is an indoor pool and spa. On the second level, is a perfectly appointed bar where residents gather for Happy Hour. Wine and beer are served. At the top of the winding staircase is the Refreshments bar where residents can come for a cup of coffee, tea or a snack. There are game tables nearby for those who play cards and games. There is a movie theater with comfortable seats and even a popcorn maker! There is a movie each evening. The activities room, on the second floor, is where residents come for exercise, crafts, games, discussions, etc. There is a beauty salon near the activities room. Resident rooms vary in size but all have large bathrooms with wheelchair accessible sinks and seats and handle bars in the showers. The nurse's suite is available to all residents who need care. All residents have an alert button that notifies the aids that help is needed immediately. Best of all is the wonderful staff, starting with the director of community relations who helps you go through the admissions process and is always available to help you in any way possible. There is a driver to takes residents to doctor appointments or other places they need to go and a bus that is wheelchair accessible and takes residents on trips. The aid s are so caring and respectful to the residents. My mom, recently, moved into the "Reflections" wing for people who need more care. I am pleased to say that the care is exceptional. My mom is very well cared for and very happy. I know I made the right choice when I chose Brandywine.

Brandywine Senior Living proved to be a God send for my family. In Dec. 2013, I was caring for my 92 year old terminally ill Mother at home, working and also caring for a 90 year old family friend who had become extremely dependent due to failing health. Papa Bryson and I visited the week before Christmas and were immediately struck by the sheer beauty of the facility and the warmth of the staff. It was a perfect match and he moved in Jan. While I am sad to say I lost my beloved Mother at the end of January and Papa at the end of March, I can honestly say it probably wood have been sooner had it not been for the assistance I received from the entire staff. It should be noted he was mobile when he arrived but gave up when Mom passed. The staff recognized his deep depression and immediately jumped into an action plan. They made his last days beautiful and he left this earth knowing he was loved. I have never worked with a more compassionate group of people who I still consider great friends.

From our first meeting at Brandywine Senior Living in Voorhees we knew we were in a very special place. Melissa. Director of Community Relations, was warm and caring, and genuinely interested in my Mom and her needs. She gave us clear and concise information that enabled us to make an informed decision about whether to pursue Brandywine or to look elsewhere. We met Tracy, the Wellness Director who is a Registered Nurse, and she was very knowledgeable about my Mom’s health issues and made her feel comfortable and cared about. The Executive Director of the facility, Gary, has taken the time to know my Mom and us well and he is very interested and attuned to everything going on at Brandywine. We also had occasion to meet Brenda, co-founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of all the Brandywine facilities, and her warmth, kindness and quest for excellence is reflected at every level of Brandywine. The directors of each department, including the nursing staff, the maintenance staff, the helpers, the chefs and the waiters are always trying to make life better, easier and to be enjoyed by my Mom and the other residents, while keeping an eye on the health and safety of the residents as well. The food is excellent and the chefs and servers keep in mind individual residents’ dietary needs and preferences. I once told Gary the director that the best way to describe Brandywine is the word “lovingkindness”. This was a very important decision where my Mom should live, and she loves it at Brandywine. It looks like a Ritz-Carlton and has so many amenities! There is a physical therapy person on the premises, a chauffeur, many social activities, a theatre, a pub, a hair salon, a pool and more. Brandywine should be the very first place that anyone should look at for assisted living in the Voorhees area. It is wonderful!
