My dad who is now 97 has been at Brandywine Living at Toms River since February 2020. He loves it. He participates in most of the activities and has many friends within the community. He has recently been upgraded to requiring some assistance with dressing and bathing, and the staff is always very kind and caring. They all seem to like him very much, too. The nursing staff is outstanding. They are very quick to advise of any issues and are very kind and caring to the residents. The management team is very available and answers questions and requests quickly. We are very happy with the community.

Toured this facility and would have been the perfect place for my aunt to call home. We unfortunately lost her before we could start the process. Very clean and well kept community. I will recommend Brandywine to anyone who is in need of this type of community

We looked at a few places, and my mom liked Brandywine Living at Toms River the best. The tour was wonderful. The tour guide was very nice. We sat down in a large private dining area that you can book for your family, and we had a very comfortable discussion about Mom's needs. She brought us around to the areas, including a model room, and one of the rooms that were available was a studio, and that was the level that we wanted. They had a chapel there and a Catholic church around the corner, an art studio room, and a courtyard that was very lovely. We saw the menu and that's one of the things that clinched it because my mother loved liverwurst, and a liverwurst sandwich was on the list. We saw a physical education seated exercise program and a group crossword puzzle, and my mother also loves crossword puzzles. They display a crossword puzzle, and they have a group discussion about the words and everything. We saw the beginnings of a flower arranging for each of the tables in the dining room. The atmosphere seemed very comfortable. My mother was particularly impressed that residents were walking around that seemed to be smiling and joking with one another. It seemed like a happy place. My mom doesn't like a lot of glitz and she didn't want to pay for a lot of activities that she wouldn't participate in, and she just felt like it was a very homey and nicely decorated and clean facility. We were able to see not only a model unit but the unit she's moving into. They facilitated the nurse visit pretty quickly. We visited the end of May and she's moving in June. The other really nice thing was the financial piece wasn't front and center. It was like asking for the check. It didn't come until as an afterthought at the end, it felt like. It wasn't a hard financial issue. We had interaction with the whole administrative staff, the nurse, and the administrator who does the tour guide, and they were all very pleasant, welcoming, and open. The second time we came there for the nurse visit, one of the administrators popped into the private dining area where we were, and she said hi and called my mom by name. The woman giving the tour knew the residents by name when we were in the hallway with residents moving about, and doing activities.

Where do I start with Brandywine at Toms River? I have to start with that this place makes you feel like a part of the family! The staff know my name and who I am here to see as soon as I walk in the door. I have visited other family members in different Assisted Livings and toured a lot of different Assisted Livings and nothing has come close to Brandywine! The building is immaculate and feels like more of a hotel/home rather than a hospital type setting. My grandmother loves her apartment, the food, and activities and well just about everything, I could go on for days. She loves her personal care aids and nurses that take extra special care of her and I can see that they love her back. I never have to worry about my grandma which gives me the greatest feeling of relief! The nurses always reach out to me if there is any issues with my grandma or even if she is just having a bad day and think she could use a visitor. And visitors are welcome 24 hours a day which is extra important for me since I work long days. All in all, If you move your loved one here I promise you will not regret it! My grandmother is cared for, feed, and entertained 24 hours a day! Thank you Brandywine for all you do!!!

My aunt has lived at Brandywine Senior Living at Toms River since August of 2015. She could not be happier. The staff is professional, caring and treats her with respect. If a problem arises, they do not hesitate to contact me, her niece and POA. They are responsive to any questions and it is a pleasure to know that I can contact them at any time with concerns or questions. I am delighted with my aunt's living situation, and it has given me great comfort to know that she is cared for day and day out.

My mom actually is now in Toms River, which is only about 15 minutes away from where I live, and she’s in a place called Brandywine. I just thought that everyone was very friendly and personable. The facility was clean, and they offered a lot of things that I know she would be interested in. She actually enjoyed visiting there when we were looking because they have such beautiful flowers and there was a fishpond in the front of the place, and actually the room that she got overlooks the fishpond.

My mother was in Brandywine in Toms River for approximately 2 1/2 years. Throughout her time there I found cleanliness, courtesy and smiles. My mother felt like the staff was part of her family. I cannot tell you how many nights a nurse would sit up with her if she wasn't feeling well. The individual attention she received if she was ill or feeling down was like none other. It is an adjustment for anybody to go to an assisted living after living in houses their whole life . However, it was the best thing for her. I felt such a sense of relief knowing that somebody was around 24 hours a day. Now that my mother has passed I find myself missing the Brandywine staff. I think each and every member of that community !

Everything has been perfect at Brandywine Senior Living at Toms River. It’s a very lovely place, and my aunt is very happy. She thinks the rooms are the nicest she has seen, and she’s comfortable. She actually likes this facility the most among the places we looked at. It’s almost like you’re in a hotel. They have activities every single day within the facility and have excursions at least once a week. I have tried the food, which is a little on the bland side but fine.

My mom was in Brandy Wine Senior Living at Toms River before she passed on. She really liked the facility and she was happy there. The rooms were very nice and the staff was excellent. She needed physical therapy and they took care of that. It was not a gigantic place, so it's a smaller facility and there weren't hundreds of people there. The food was good. My brother and I were very satisfied with them.

I visited Brandy Wine at Tom's River. They're very nice and very good. Some of the rooms there were quite small, in fact, too small for my parents. However, everybody there was very nice.

Brandywine seemed nice. I was consumed because it appeared to have less people, less activities. Their staff is very good and the rooms are new.

I choose Brandy Wine Senior Living for my step mother because it is very close to my house. The facility is very clean the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a courtyard in back where the residents can walk and there is front porch with a over hang where can sit and rock and play cards.
