We moved Mom into Villa Crest assisted living. She's been there for a few weeks now, and she's comfortable and happy. It has been absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough about it. The staff has been amazing. Everyone is so friendly. It was very organized and clean. It's just a happy community. She has a studio and it is adorable. It has a nice little kitchen area if she chose to use it. It's very pleasant. I'm very happy. They come and they invite her daily to activities, and yesterday she did cornhole. She didn't even know what it was, and I thought that was pretty impressive. She's done some bingo. She's trying different things, which just really warms my heart. She's a pretty picky eater, and she's been eating much better than she was at home. She hasn't complained at all. She eats whatever they give them, she says, except for fish. They seem to have quite a variety of activities, some are consistent, like they consistently have bingo. They have religious kinds of activities she could choose to go to if she wanted to. So far it seems to be very appealing. No one wants to pay thousands of dollars, but for what she's getting and the peace of mind, the facility and the food, I would say it's reasonable. I'm very, very happy.

Neglect of loved one of even the basic minimal care. Lack of communication between staff jeopardizing the health and safety of our loved one. Meals given not fit for humans; Cafeteria type food saturated in sodium - nothing of nutritional value. Staff untruthful about care of loved one. Short staffed. Disgusted with Villa Crest!!! Do not send your loved one there. Too long of a waiting list at other facilities to move our loved one elsewhere before her passing. OUR LOVED ONE DIDN"T DESERVE TO SPEND HER LAST DAYS IN THIS HORRIBLE ENVIRONMENT and FACILITY!!!!

I wouldn’t let an animal stay there. It’s gone down hill every since the agency’s came into play. Before the agency, there was a sense of family and caring by the people that work there. The most difficult part is that the residents have Dementia, or Alzheimer’s, and many other conditions on top of that. So having different people walk through the door every day and night that are not vested at ALL to help because they don’t know them and simply don’t care. The agency staff has their cell phones out texting and not caring for the residents. The sense of family has gone. A resident died last week. She had Celiac disease and other things. She would cry every night because she was in so much pain. They thought she wanted attention. They would just give her a Tylenol and not address what was really wrong with her. And they would be very angry because her stomach hurt, and they had to keep toileting her. The last time I visited they had a change in management twice. They seem to be cutting back on everything which wasn’t a lot to begin with. The old saying goes, the people make the difference… That’s how it used to be. There are a handful of people that have not left I only wish for the residents sake their was more of them. Breaks my heart. Smoke and mirror show don’t go.

I always thought a nursing home was a place where people went to die but for my mom Villa Crest is where she went to live! On Valentine’s Day 2020 my stepdad and the love of my mother’s life past away suddenly . Over the next 3 years my mom had sunken into a deep depression and my siblings and I thought she was in the last year of her life . She was sent to Villa Crest for rehab and after 4 days I told my sister we couldn’t give up her bed because the care there is far and above any other rehab she had previously been in the staff is positive and loving and they have so many wonderful activities my mom LOVES it there and she is thriving I highly recommend Villa Crest to anyone seeking a fabulous place for loved ones

I toured Villa Crest. There was a lot of walking there, and it impressed me more like a nursing home than assisted living. They had a nice dining room, but they were not open for my mom and I to go have a meal. The staff showed me a studio unit, and it was a nice layout. Everything was on one floor, so you didn't have to worry about elevators or stairs. The staff talked about activities. They had a calendar of activities. You can get your laundry done, and there were other things that they do for you. It was a full-service place. It was clean. They offer transportation.

Villa Crest seems nice and convenient. It's a clean and a really good place. We haven't got any complaints yet and my mother's been there for about eight months now. The doctors are right on top of everything. The nurses are really good. She goes to the lunchroom every day and they help her all day. I'd move in myself in a minute if I could. She is in a room with two beds in it (because there are two people). It's got a nice TV, and a hospital bed (which is good), so she can get up. She also has a recliner next to her bed, a bureau, and a closet. It has nice windows so you can see the birds feeding and everything outside. They have activities almost every day. They have singers that come in, big round bouncy balls that they play the drums on to get their activity going, and a nice outside porch. The sun hits it well all day in nice weather.

When I walked through this front door, I felt like I was "HOME" The staff greeted me promptly, and encouraged me to stay for a complimentary lunch in their family style restaurant. I could tell immediately that this was where I needed to be. This center was recommended by my physician who said her mom was a patient here as well.

I checked out both assisted living and nursing home at Villa Crest. It was very nice and very clean. The rooms looked nice and big and included a kitchen. They had a restaurant for them to go eat at. However, when my father becomes dependent on Medicaid, they had no assisted living beds to qualify for that. They would have moved him to the nursing home side no matter what his abilities were at that point. He doesn't have much money, so he would have been moved there before he was ready to be moved. The staff was excellent.

I just had a wonderful rehab stay at Villa Crest. This is my second stay and would recommend it 100%. The level of professionalism from the Admitting liaison to the floor nurse is far better than I have ever experienced. The laundry ladies and kitchen help are friendly and helpful too. Thank You for making me feel better :-)

I am so pleased with this rehabilitation center. I was welcomed with open arms, cared for in the most professional way and the food was delicious. I felt like I was on a cruise ship and not at a rehab. What an amazing healthcare center.! 5 Stars - A+++++++

With out getting into too many details this facility is the worse... They allowed my mother to suffer with a UTI for days prior to doing anything and ignored my request for medical assistance... Thus the out come was that my mother died... If I had known better, but not being a medical professional I should have taken her to the hospital the first day I suspected her of having a UTI. If I had she would still be alive today...

I can't say enough good things about this place! I went for a tour and was greeted by a professional knowledgeable admissions employee. She showed me the rehab and was very patient with my questions. The patients were all very happy and staff was friendly.

We’ve always loved Villa Crest; my mom’s been going there for a number of years now. If we go on vacation, that’s where we take her because they are very nice and good to her. One thing they could improve on, which I know is very difficult, is probably getting more help because sometimes it’s a little difficult for staff to get to her. However, they’re very good and really on top of everything, so it’s hard for me to say what they really would need to improve on. That’s like anywhere you go: you always could use extra help.

Villa Crest was nice. They were clean, and the rooms were a good size. They play cards, they have crafts, and they have little parties. It looked like it was ran very well; it was very efficient.

I had a parent here . The facility is unkept and has a horrific odor. My father was often ignored. The staff is rude and uncaring. There are often 10 to 12 staff gathered at the desk gossiping instead of caring for patients. My father got an infection due to staff not washing their hands. They will lie to the patients and family to cover up their errors. The patients are lonely, unbathed and in some cases in pain. Very sad place for any human being to spend time !!

I admitted my mother for respite care. During the stay she developed a blood clot that was not diagnosed and therefore not treated. The day of admission she was not toileted, and therefore soiled herself. She was dropped off a meal, and was not provided any assistance with cutting up her food. Her roommate, also a dementia sufferer, was similarly ignored. The five hour admission process had a clinical assessment with me absent, so functional abilities of my mother were based upon my mother's input. She received no assistance to get to activities or to navigate outside of her room. Even within her room she could not enter into the bathroom with her walker. The bathrooms are too small for anyone requiring a walker to ambulate. While the staff was courteous, they did ignore the needed attention that my mother required as well as the input that I had provided.

Villa Crest offered a place for people with Alzheimer’s. They have a very nice, expensive program for my sister. I was impressed with it.

I liked Villa Crest because they have different levels of care. The staff is very friendly and very visible. The interaction between the residents and staff was very positive. They have many things going on there. It’s just very expensive.

Villa Crest was an assisted living facility and a nursing home combined. What appealed to me was that if my mom progresses and needs a nursing home, it transitions right there. However, I did not really care the environment at all, so I will not choose that place for her. As soon as I walked into their lobby there were like three elderly women sitting in their wheelchairs and it just didn't seem like a good place to put them in. They should be in a room where they don't HAVE to be seen by everybody who goes in.

Overall I was quite pleased with Villa Crest. The reason I was pleased with the place was mostly due to their employees. There was always a nurse or someone close by incase they were needed at anytime during the day, I found this to be beneficial because my Grandmother needed constant help. The room was blas and kind of depressing. It was all brown and had nothing on the walls. My grandmother even mentioned to me that she was not to happy about the room. Although the room wasn't the prettiest that didn't matter because the help and assistance provided for my grandmother was top-notch. They were always very friendly to the family and my grandmother, ensuring that she had a pleasant stay by asking how she was doing and how to improve her stay. If I am allowed to point out one thing that held the score back from 5 stars well that would be the food. The food was terrible and never changed. A very small selection of possibilities and none of them appetizing.
