Regency Heights had very nice rooms. They were very nicely laid out. They have a heated garage that you can drive into and they have elevators getting up on the floors. It was very, very clean with very professional people in there. It was very festive. They were having a Halloween party, and it was a very nice setting. They had activities that were offered and their activity rooms were very well used. They also have an outside barbecue. The staff was very nice and very friendly.

I live in Regency Heights in Manchester. It's independent living but as far as activities and whatnot, there's little to none. I'm okay with that because I'm not retired but if I were retired, I would not think that this is a very active community. It's nice-looking enough and their maintenance crew is amazing and very responsive. There's an underground parking garage, so that's certainly a plus. They keep the sidewalk too nice. I think that the carpeting is a bit dated but it's adequate. For me, the only thing that they provide that I probably couldn't get in a regular apartment is that they do the sidewalks. I would also make sure I had an apartment that had some kind of parking situation. The fact that they take care of the grounds is the only thing that differentiates a regular apartment from this place, for me. I think they're a little expensive for being so plain vanilla, in my opinion.
