My mother has a beautiful 3 room suite with a view of fields and mountains and woods. The staff consists of the most kind, cheerful, caring professionals I could imagine. My mother is 93 and enjoys singing in the Hillside Voices, great exercise classes, classical music group, a greenhouse she can visit, gardens, options for all kinds of activities, walking the trails on site, the best and freshest food served beautifully, option for terrific massage weekly on site, faith services on site, beautiful artwork and a state of the art healthcare facility offering memory care and skilled nursing units if and when she needs them. Where I live in northern Virginia, assisted living begins at $12,000 per month. CLK is 6,500 per month for assisted living.

Covenant Living of Keene is excellent. It's like a country club. The issue is the cost. The living space is excellent. There's plenty of space as far as I'm concerned. We usually go swimming once a day, and there's a swimming pool. They have a garden, so there is an ability to do that as well. The people seem quite alert. It would be excellent for me, but I'm not certain how it would be for my wife. The upkeep is fine. Everything is perfect in that sense. The staff who toured us was excellent, too. However, it was the most expensive.
