My mother was a patient. She was blind, and the staff was wonderful to her. She loved the meals. The housekeeping was good. Bathroom was always clean! She found it inconvenient that she had to go to the medication room downstairs to be given her meds. One negative thing that I have to say is that the staff did not seem to try to get her involved with any type of activity within the building. She was blind, which made it difficult to deal with. I always felt that she was safe and well taken care of. I loved the fact that they had a hairdresser come in certain days of the week. The staff all supported her in her effort to walk a certain number of laps in the hallway every day, and everyone cheered her on!

I'm going to choose Granite Ledges of Concord for my mom. It's close enough to me that I can keep an eye on her and it's affordable. I went on a tour and I felt that not just the memory unit but the whole facility was secure, and it just fit her. The staff was busy with patients. I saw patients playing bingo, I saw some going to dinner. I saw the room, which was clean, it was fine. The one that gave me the tour was the director. I've seen a lot of their facilities, they have activities and they work with them.

I went to Granite Ledges of Concord. It was comparable to the other place I went to. It looked more like a ski lodge from the outside, which was kind of cool looking. The inside was beautiful, it was clean. The residents were out and about sitting comfortably in their chairs, because it wasn't suppertime that night. She was very informative about her facility, very nice, and very friendly. They had a couple of different dining areas and it was like restaurant style. That's beautiful. They had a TV room. I think most of the residents were watching a movie. They had the salon. They had a little library, a sitting room type library, which was very nice.

I went and visited Granite Ledges of Concord. I like it. It was very homey. Everyone was friendly and it was low-key, not a lot of residents which I liked. It seemed like they had all the services that my dad would need, like transportation back and forth to dialysis and doctor's appointments. It was right on a hospital campus, which was convenient. I liked it. If my dad was going to move back up here, then I would recommend that he go there. Plus, it's close to me. I live in Concord, so he would be close to me.

We have chosen Granite Ledges of Concord for a lot of things, location, close proximity to Concord Hospital and mom's primary care physician, and the level of care. The layout is visually appealing. There are walking trails behind the facility, there are gardens behind the facility where you can walk and sit, there are raised garden beds, they have a nice open area that's all windows where the residents can go in and sit, and they have a library. They offer a lot.

My aunt is in Granite Ledges of Concord and they're doing an outstanding job. The staff is professional and courteous. I haven't been to her apartment due to the COVID restrictions. She's totally content and comfortable.

I have a relative who has lived at Granite Ledges for almost two years. My relative has memory issues but is not in the memory care unit. I have been completely impressed with the care that my loved one has received. The staff responds to family requests quickly, and seeks to include my relative in activities whenever possible. Whenever there is an issue I am called and we work together to resolve the problem. During Covid, they were right on top of things and as of the end of July 2020 had NO confirmed cases of CV, and have tested the residents and staff regularly. That speaks to the level of care and attention to detail. I would recommend Granite Ledges to anyone seeking the best care in the Concord area. We looked at about five places within a 20 mile radius and this was the best option, by far!

The first day my relative moved in to the alzheimers dementia wing the coordinator bragged about their family style eating being so inclusive. In a few short days they had converted back to bringing in individual.plates on a cart. I attempted to utilize the common areas kitchen facilities to store better quality food and prepare it for my relative there and they will not allow it. I was told I cannot supply my relative with appliances for the kitchenette in his room because they would be too dangerous. Their stove is kept under lock and key and is a total facade. After attempting to take every meal with my relative they have made excuses and misrepresented me to the tune of a request that I not attend the meals. If the family that eats together stays together they would rather my relatives family not stay together. Hows that for family style eating?

I went to Granite Ledges by the Concord Hospital. I liked this whole community. They were very friendly. It seemed like a good place; a place I wouldn’t mind leaving my mom. It was very comfortable. I liked that place so much that I considered taking a job there. It just felt very good. Everybody was really nice. I wanted her to go there, but it was out of our price range. The rooms were fairly small, but I guess that’s what you get. The place was beautiful, really clean, and seemed homey. If they wanted something to eat, the little kitchen parts were open. They could also walk outside and see deer in the backyard. I’d recommend anyone that can afford to go there. The menu looked good, and they have plenty of stuff going on, almost all day from morning to night. They also took respite.
