I like Heritage Springs' room sizes. They're located in a nice area of town, and the food is delicious. My mom is there for assisted living. With regard to activities, the only thing she's interested in is church and bingo. It's a beautiful facility, and all the staff is very friendly. It's very clean.

Heritage Springs Las Vegas was fantastic. They were very kind, professional, very knowledgeable, and answered a lot of our questions. We appreciated the tour. They did show us the rooms. We thought that they were quite beautiful, well set up, and the perfect size. The setup with the private restroom within the room and the little kitchen area is very nice. We didn't see the activities in action, but we did hear about them. I loved that they had a happy hour where the families could come to visit their residents that were staying there. I did like the game room, all that they had available, and the TVs. It was set up very nicely. The price was out of our range, but as far as the community, I would rate that a five. All the staff that we came in contact with were extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, very professional. I appreciated all of them.

My mother went to Heritage Springs. They seemed nice, but they're more assisted living where my mother went in as hospice. The people were very nice. I would recommend them. They're expensive, but probably it's the norm for that type of service. She stayed there for about eight days, but during that time, everybody was nice. The food was good. I just think she was further along than anybody realized. We all thought she would get into this lovely place and she'd perk up and she'd be different, but it just didn't happen. She was in hospice, which means assisted living and then hospice came in, so hospice was taking care of her. She liked the food. I was pretty happy with the facility. I recommend it so high. They have cooking classes, and bingo, they have the TV room, and they have theater night. I was very impressed with them and had hoped that my mother had gone in earlier when she could have enjoyed those. Unfortunately, she just went in as hospice and didn't make it that long. They had a lot of activities and everybody was friendly and nice. If she was in assisted living, I think it would be worth the money, but she wasn't able to do those things. It's a wonderful place. I was very happy. It's expensive, but it's a nice place. We had a few appointments, and once we saw Heritage, we kind of stopped and said, "No, that's going to be it." We were very happy with them.

We went to Heritage Springs, which is a nice facility. My mother was there for three years, so I went there a lot. The staff members there were outstanding. That to me was their highlight. Their staff was just wonderful. The rooms were nicer. They were smaller. Even the semiprivate ones are very private. The rooms were smaller, but they were adequate. They were a good size. They were neat and clean. The food was OK. It was pretty good for being in an institution. It was very good. When our family came down, they had a private dining room, and we all ate like family-style together, and that was just really a nice feature that we were able to do that. They did a lot of music. My mother was a musician, so I probably paid attention to them more, but they did a lot of getting together and singing like songs from the era that these people lived. They had people come in that could play the piano and sing songs. They had a van, so they take people on outings here and there.

We visited Heritage Springs. It was nicer than the other place, and we saw the apartments, the dining room, and the activity room. It's a really nice facility. We didn't try any of the food, but it smelled good.

Heritage Springs was amazing, more settled, and there were more residents than the other place we visited that's new. We saw how the staff interacted with the residents, how it's up to the individuals what they want to do, that it's not micromanaged. The memory care residents were allowed less privileges than the assisted living, but we liked the staff there. They knew everybody's name. It was a nice place. We saw where baths were given, the rooms, and there were residents eating in the dining area. It was a very nice dining atmosphere, everybody was well dressed, and they had a good menu and a good chef.

I really liked Heritage Springs. The people were really nice and informative, and they told us about other things we could do that we weren't aware of. I like that this community is a lot smaller than the others. It's really a good experience. They're still keeping me updated. They even called me the other day regarding my dad's current situation. The person who showed us around the community was Keil. He was really nice and kept checking to see what our plans were. He really cares. Some of their amenities include a weight or exercise room, they have a movie room, bingo nights, and there's a really nice fireplace in the lobby with coffee on the side. They also have a piano there and some of the residents play the piano. They sit around the fireplace and the residents play the piano, so that's nice.

My father moved there 3 weeks ago. He is a little forgetful. I was assured that they could handle that. They said if he needed help, they have a program called illuminations that is designed to help those with the beginnings of dementia. What a lie!!!! I called yesterday to find out that they have shoved him into a locked dementia ward without my knowledge or consent. I am his health care proxy and visited the facility just before he moved in. I'm trying to manage his care cross country. I am his health care proxy, his daughter and a Certified Emergency nurse. I am heartbroken for him. No one from the facility would accept my call or call me back today. Shameful. Do not put you loved one here!

Heritage Springs is very nice and clean, everyone is very friendly, and the caregivers are very good. I have nothing negative to say about them really. They're in a good location that's easily accessible, and they have a courtyard. My mother was in one of their extra-large rooms in front of the building with a view of the mountain. They have tons of stuff for the residents, like play games like bingo, go out on trips for Christmas shopping or to the casino to go sightseeing. The food is also good.

Heritage Springs was nice. The staff helped me when I asked questions. The dining area, the room, and the cleanliness of everything looked nice. It seemed like the staff was nice, too.

Our father recently spent some time at Heritage Springs, and our family was thoroughly impressed with not only the facility, but the staff who really made this one of the brightest experiences in our fathers passing. They truely make you feel like family, and financially they exceed their very affordable rates with every level of care. We can't say enough, except thank you Heritage Springs for making our fathers transition as painless as possible. Sincerely Paul O.

My mother has been in Heritage Springs for less than a week. It's a great, older place, but you get the impression that it's new. It's spotless; they keep the place immaculate. The people who work there have been nothing but kind. We feel that this is going to be the place for her. The room we got her is a very small studio, but it's perfect for her. It's really expensive, but you get what you pay for. They have a great dining area where you can order whatever you want for lunch and dinner.

I visited Heritage Springs because I was looking for a place for Mom. It seemed very nice, but I couldn't afford it. The place was very clean. Everybody seemed very nice. The rooms were nice. It was beautiful, but it was over my price range. It seemed fine. The salesperson was very nice though.

Heritage Springs was excellent. The eating facility looked great and had a fair menu variety. Their options were good to excellent. They had game afternoons or game mornings. They had a workout room, craft time, and little kitchen where they assist residents with baking or helping them make things. It was very nice. They had exercise classes plus a nurse that would come in and make sure that everybody was doing OK with a visual inspection on the residents. The dining area was restaurant-style.

Heritage Springs was great and had lovely apartments. It was really nice. The lady who took as through was nice. They had activities of just about everything that you would want, like exercise, dancing, and games. They really had nice things for them and a great menu. You could go down and eat breakfast anytime.

My husband stayed at Heritage Springs. They did everything they could for him but did not have the capacity to take care of a high-functioning individual. He wanted to go outside and sit, so they took him outside to sit for about 20 minutes and when he came back in, he wanted to go out again because he did not remember that he had been outside. They told him that he could not go outside. Then, a new trainee argued with him telling him that he was married when he did not think he was. Their ability to care for memory care people was limited to those people who were more advanced in their dementia. They did not have a program for the higher functioning people. However, they bent over backwards for six months to try and keep him entertained. Their rooms were nice. The caregivers were good and caring. The care coordinator had done the best she could with what she had been allowed to do. They needed to have interaction and more activities for the higher functioning memory care residents.

Heritage Springs' administration and the workers there were very nice. It's a little less modern, but the people are nice there. The dining room was very nice, and they have transportation within a certain distance. It's easily accessed where it's located for anybody. Everybody wants you to have your parents stay there. They followed up, I spoke to the lady there on the phone, and she was just lovely.

Heritage Springs was awesome. Their staff was incredible, kind, friendly, and amenable. They were willing to add things to their daily regiment to make sure that my friend was comfortable. I talked about how my friend was a holistic practitioner for 40 to 50 years, and they talked about incorporating holistic things for her and even letting her speak and enlighten everybody else about how the body can heal itself. It was clean and open-aired. They were just way too expensive, but they were worth the money for sure. They had a swimming pool, but it was for the senior living, not for the assisted living. If you’re older, I think you should be spending more time in the pools, but they don’t have any of the equipment to properly lower and retrieve an elderly person from the pool; this was my big complaint about every one of the places that I saw -- there was no water therapy available.

My husband is now at Heritage Springs, and it’s wonderful. The food is great, they have a menu, and they go to a dining hall. They have their own room and furniture, which seemed nice. It’s very clean, and the people were very friendly. They call my husband by his name and always greet him. It’s such a wonderful place, and they are very good. When I walked to my husband’s room, it’s very nice and clean.

I liked everything about Heritage Springs. It was just fantastic. The rooms were nice, they have a lot to offer, and everything is great; that's why we are choosing this place. The price was a little bit higher than the other places we looked at, but it was worth the extra.

We visited Heritage Springs, and we walked away feeling kind of cold because we did not see anybody. There were no residents outside when we were there. The lady at the desk, she was just kind of cold or shy. She kind of dismissed us right away, and passed us on to somebody else. They have a nice, large apartment; but we were just not impressed with the staff that we saw. The entire tour, we did not see any residents anywhere which is very unusual. The cleanliness of the facility is okay. I did not get the impression that it is a happy place. Their price is so expensive too.

We didn’t see anybody walking around; like, no residents. The person at the front desk, I believe she was the manager, didn’t seem too interested in the fact that we were there. The person who showed us around was nice, and she was helpful in guiding us towards getting the Veterans license. The rooms seemed nice, but the fact we didn’t see any resident around made us not think of it as great. In all of the other communities we saw the residents walking around, we were able to talk to them; but not at the Heritage Springs.

Heritage Springs was very nice, but the main challenge was the price as it was a little pricey. It seemed to be accommodating to a lot of the folks that were there. It was very clean and nice, and it had a lot of things for seniors. It’s a very nice community; the staff and people were very helpful. Seemed to be a very nice place for my mom to live, and she seemed to like it.

We went to one here in Las Vegas named Heritage Springs. It is close to the house. The facility was nice, but it is not the type of facility I was looking for my parents because it looks like an institution. That is not what I am looking for. I'm looking for more of a home-like facility and something more personalized because they are living in the Mid-West so they are used to the wide open spaces. I don't want to put them in something that looks like an institution. Really the ideal situation would be a cottage type of situation for them. It is big and clean, but they say it is confining. For them it is not going to be good because my dad is a social person, and it will be very difficult for them to be confined. They have the bingo, television, and card playing so they are active. As for security, it was secure enough. My step mother is in the early stages of Alzheimer's, so it is important to have security because we don't have to deal with a walk-away.

Heritage Springs was a nice place, and the management was very nice. I was invited to have a Sunday dinner, and I attended, but I never got to eat because for some reason they didn’t have it anymore, and then they told me I had a choice from another sheet of paper. I choose one, and that didn’t come -- something else was delivered to me -- so I went home.

My husband is in the memory care unit of Heritage Springs. The building is on a major street and the cross street is a major street as well. It is not that far from the hospital and my husband has to go to the hospital several times. It is mostly desert landscape, but they have an area that has trees, a courtyard, they have grass, flowers, birdfeeders and they can go out there when the weather is not too hot. It is locked -- they will not be able to go out of that area to wander off, and the only way they can go is back into the building. In the assisted living, they set up the dining room like a five star dining room with tablecloth, centerpiece, sometimes they have live flower and sometimes they have artificial. They have a choice of three entrees on the menu for each day so you can choose what you want. Now, in the memory care where my husband is, they have a menu also. However, it is up to him. In the morning, when he looks at the menu and selects what he wants, or he decides he doesn't want to participate in anything. So when the food comes out, they will ask him what he wants. They offer balanced meals and they can accommodate people who are on special diet. My husband is on a low fat, cardiac, no salt, diabetic diet because he has multiple medical problems. They have some excellent staff. They have a turnover last year and, the staff who takes care of the residents is the same caliber as before. They have med techs that give the medication. He has diabetes and coronary artery disease and they can take care of him. He is on insulin and I think that he is the first patient they take who is on insulin. It is a very nice facility and I will recommend them to others.

I am in Heritage Springs. It is very clean. The room is freshly painted with new carpeting and new flooring in the bathroom. I have a grand studio. The food is very good and the service is excellent. The dining room is very nice. People know your name and they treat you very well. It has pleasant people. The staff is very accommodating. I only have one problem -- I don't like people knocking on my door and walking in because that really bothers me. I just felt right. So far so good. They have activities like luau, bingo, poker, football games and bus trips. They have a fish tank in the lobby. The have a bird in one room. They have a cockatoo in the community room and people have dogs, and it is just nice. I will recommend them to others.

My mom's stay at Heritage Springs was very good. She really enjoyed it there. There was a sense of family. All the people in the wellness center really cared and really took their time. My mom was very, very happy there. I was happy that it was close to home. The only issue was the cost and that was the main reason. Otherwise, she would still be there because that's where she was happy, and that's where she was being taken care of and that was home to her. And it was close to home for us, which was very convenient. Overall, the only thing I could think of that they could improve on, is the price. Everybody there was very upset and sad to see my mother go. The staff was always well attentive. They treated them like they were their parents. They were always pleasant and always concerned. They were very attentive and just caring. I have tried eating there and the food was very good. However, there wasn't a low-salt or a low-sugar option. In terms of activities, they had bingo every single day and they had brain games, poker games and puzzles. They had two activity directors who were both fantastic. They're very, very nice people. They're very jovial and very caring. You always saw them teasing the residents. They just had a whole list of stuff. If my mother wanted to, she could go from one to the other and be busy all day. Also, they took them on little excursions if they wanted to.

My mother stayed at Heritage Springs for respite care only. She just went there while I was out of town. It was a nice, fair price for the time I was gone. I thought it was a very nice place. It was clean. The rooms were nice. Their rooms looked like typical hotel rooms. Heritage Springs had a lot of good features. It was also in a good location. I like their staff. Also they had activities all day long, and that was nice. They also had a way to take my mom out and go places.

Heritage Springs serves every need. There are community shuttles to take Mom to places, and the food is fantastic. It's kind of like 5-star accommodations within a housing/living environment. It's fairly new, it's very clean, and very well-managed.

I preferred Heritage Springs Assisted Living for my aunt becaue of the small number of residents on the memory center. The facility was well-kept, and the staff were thoughtful. They kept everybody active. The food was flavorful and well-balanced.

My mother started on the assisted living side with a diagnosis of Dementia. Her apartment was wonderful and the caregiver staff very attentive to her needs. Within 2 months my mother had experienced several falls requiring emergency room attention. After changing special needs by the staff it was suggested that my mom be moved to the memory care side for more attention. Subsequent to her move she was placed under hospice care with Creekside Hospice. The caregivers are wonderful with a staff ratio to patient of 2 to 1. The caregivers treat my mom and other residents as part of their families. It is wonderful to see the personal care given to each. My family and I feel such relief knowing she is getting such loving attention. My brother and I make daily visits and know that her care is not just sporatic. We have been blessed in our daily visits to meet and interact with other residents who do not have regular visitors. It is wonderful to see their interactions. In many ways this experience has made my life more purposeful. I admire all the caregivers for what they do with the residents, and for such little compensation. I can never thank them enough.

We live in a different state and were told there would be constant communication regarding her needs, but we could never get the supervisor on the phone for over 6 weeks. They never followed-up on her glasses that were supposed to come in over a month ago, the doctor that visits the residents never called us with any updates, they are re-using corn pads on her feet which is not hygenic! And explicit instructions to the hairdresser went ignored. They will tell you anything to get your loved one in there, and then all communication stops. Not happy with the care there, and we are looking elsewhere!
