Everyone here in Walnut Grove is very friendly. It's a very clean place. The food is very good and housekeeping is very good. We are in a two-bedroom. It's small, but it's comfortable. For the residents, the dining area is very large. It's airy and comfortable, too. The grounds are very well-kept. There's lots of activities like bingo, cards, trips to take you shopping, chair yoga, and morning exercises. They also have a weight room here and a salon that's priced according to the community.

My tour experience at Walnut Grove was good. The apartments were small and not very modern. They only had balconies on the park side, and I require a balcony. It was a pleasant facility. But it was kind of old-fashioned. It didn't feel modern. It felt elderly. The apartments were not very appealing to me. The person who gave the tour was great though. They offer three meals a day, but they are all buffet, and I prefer not to have all buffet food. That turned me off. The dining area was very nice and very open. The food smelled great. The layout was good and clean, but it was just not very updated.

Walnut Grove is a lively and busy community. They offer a lot of activities and entertainment. The dining room is very nice. They offer housekeeping. The staff was very welcoming, professional, respectful, and courteous. They have a beauty salon and a little convenience store.

I liked Walnut Grove for myself. I was just kind of worried about the step up in case down the line I would need a higher level of care. They didn't have the facility for that, they just had people that would come in. The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in was the pond that had fish in it because it was very pleasant and relaxing. The whole place was very pleasant. The meals were really good, and the people were very friendly. They had a wine and dine that was good. They had a unique theater setting and a nice exercise room. They had a schedule for games, cards, and other activities.

The apartments at Walnut Grove were really nice, and they had lots of extra things. They had four meals a day. Somebody would clean your apartment twice a month. There were emergency contacts in case you needed medical attention. They had their own little pharmacy and exercise room. They had a calendar of events. They had transportation, if you needed it. The lady that gave us the tour seemed really knowledgeable about the home and their activities. She explained to us about the meals. She also explained that they had a program where if you traveled around the United States, there were other communities you could stay at in different cities.

We have chosen Walnut Grove. My mom isn't in there yet. I liked it very much. I thought that the people were very friendly and the service that they gave to their clients was really good. When I talked to some of the clients that live there, they spoke very highly of it, which made it friendly for me to try to put my mom there because she's been in her home for 65 years, so I wanted a place that I knew would reach out. Another thing I liked was the mentoring. They said they're going to attach a mentor with my mom that will take her down to breakfast, lunch, and dinner and things like that, so they kind of introduced her to the people that are living there. I thought that was nice. The people were very friendly. The staff was very efficient in answering questions. I also thought that the price was very reasonable compared to other institutions that I visited. The rooms are very nice. They're private rooms. I did not try the food, but I was excited that they offer three meals a day whereas many places did not do that. The dining area was very nice. They have lots of activities, and that was another reason I liked it. There's a theater and they bring in entertainment. Those were areas that I was impressed with. It's kind of new, and it looks good. They provide housekeeping once a week for the residents, so that's good as well. I met one of the housekeepers on my mom's floor, and she was very, very outgoing and friendly. They showed us the workout room and hairdressing. We were very excited that she has a place to get her hair done.

Walnut Grove looked like a very good place to go. I saw a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment; the sizes and layouts were good. They had a lot of common spaces. They had a dining room, a theater, exercise, and a computer room. They had a gaming room or a rec-room-type place, and I think they had a barber shop, too, or a salon. It was clean and up to date. The residents seemed like they were happy and engaged.

I had an in-person tour of Walnut Grove, but it was a lot more than what I really needed. I didn't need all the amenities, and therefore didn't want to pay for the extra stuff. They were very good about showing things. The rooms were very adequate for anyone's needs, I thought they were good in size, and they had all the kitchen facilities, they were very nice. They had some exercise, and they had a library.

Walnut Grove was very nice, but I wanted a little bit more room. The apartments were a little bit small. There were residents playing cards, and the ones I spoke with were very happy there. The staff who showed me around and explained all the activities was very nice and very professional. The dining area was very clean, and they had a nice array of food. The apartments were clean, and the layout was nice, but they're small.

We visited Walnut Grove and this particular one was a by the month rental. It was a very nice facility, but we want something with garages that are built-in underneath the building and that one did not have it. The staff members were very pleasant and very nice, and they took us on a tour of the place. It was overlooking a wooded area with plenty of parking. I had no complaints. They have a gym and you can play cards or whatever. It was quite a nice facility. It's just not what we're looking for yet.

Walnut Grove was very nice. The staff was nice and considerate, but the room that I saw was rather small, so I don’t know what I am going to do. The food was good. The residents seemed glad to be there.

My mom is at Walnut Grove in a two-bedroom apartment. It is wonderful place for elderly people. They get together every day to do a lot of things. They have a workout room and hair dressers and a very good selection of food, which they serve three times a day. It's very well kept.

The apartments at Walnut Grove Retirement were nice. Even the studio apartments were a good size. The gal that showed us around was very hospitable; I couldn’t ask for a nicer person as far as that.

Walnut Grove was a beautiful facility. We ate there, and the food was good. I liked the different room styles. However, it's not a good fit for my mother, because it's only independent living. They did have care that you could get, but that was extra. A big concern also was the distance from the dining room. It was just too far and too much walking for her. Other than that, it's a very nice place, and I have no issues with the cleanliness.

The staff at Walnut Grove was extremely friendly. They gave me free lunch and took me on a tour. It was really nice and no pressure. They have studio, and one, two, or three bedroom. They have everything in it; washer, dryer, and stove. All the residents that I saw there seemed to be fairly happy and content.

I visited Walnut Grove, and it’s not for me; I’m not ready for anything like that. When I went to visit, I had a couple of friends that were there. They were very happy there. They were older than me, and I saw their place. It was a very nice facility; it looked very nice and very clean. It has a lot of activities for older people. Walnut Grove Park is right adjacent to it; they might go for a walk if they can get to it.

She is in Walnut Grove, but she decided to hire additional help. She gets 3 meals a day, and somebody comes in, vacuums, and takes her trash once a week. Another thing they offer that is important to us seniors is transportation. You don’t have to have your own car. But if you chose to, you can rent a garage space and pay extra rent for that. She has a full kitchen with a washer and dryer, a stove, and a microwave which she never uses. And just like every place else, some staff are nice, and some are grouchy. Something different goes on every day. They have movies in their movie theater, and all the pay per views of major sports events, pinnacle clubs, and bingo clubs. When you go in, it’s built like you’re in a cruise ship. It has that main dining salon.

We've visited this facility and the people were nice and warm. The management team have a sense of support for each other. They provide 3 meals a day. The place was nice but the rooms were quite smaller than what I currently have. And the price is pretty expensive as well, closer to what I'm paying for right now. If only the financial aspects met our expectation, I would definitely love to have gone to this place.
