I toured Maple Ridge. They only had balconies on the west side, so not all of the units had balconies. There was no underground parking. They had outside garages which I don't like. They had a valet service. The food was included. They had larger apartments than the other place, but still not great. The person who gave the tour was a good guy. He was very pleasant, and he had a lot of information. The dining area was nice. They had three meals a day, but it was all buffet, and I didn't want to eat buffet all the time.

Maple Ridge looked wonderful. It was in excellent condition and had a very nice layout. They said that they want it to look like a cruise ship inside, so there was a big open atrium, all three stories. I mean the atrium went up to all levels. The staff who gave me the tour was very professional and helpful, not pushy. They had buffet meals three times a day and you could go back for seconds, and if you needed assistance going through the buffet, they had aides to help you. I will move in there when the time comes. They had a minibus that would take people shopping a couple times a week, and to a couple of different stores twice a week. They had a theater and they brought in entertainment. They showed Nebraska football games when they're televised, and they had tailgate parties, and I think they had some happy hours. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was a little tricky to access. It was really close to a major intersection, but you can only approach going northbound onto the street that takes you to their property.

What I like the most about Maple Ridge is that they have a chef and a chef pantry, so if you are hungry late at night, you can get to it. They have one and two bedrooms. Their apartments are quite spacious. I love the fact that it's well-lit and bright. There are a lot of activities to be involved in. I enjoyed speaking with Ray, who gave me the tour. His patience is remarkable. The dining area was pretty amazing. It looks nice. The people there were talking and seemed to be enjoying themselves and the food. They have a beauty salon and a little convenience store.

We liked Maple Ridge very much. The overall experience was very positive. The senior living consultant, Ray, was wonderful with information and gracious hospitality. He answered all my million questions personally and took me on a tour of the common areas, and I was even able to see two-bedroom and one-bedroom units. The environment and the furnishings seemed very, very homey. They offer an amazing array of amenities. Also, one of the positive things that my husband and I liked was that the meal plan is included in the unit rental. Other amenities like their valet or concierge parking have no charge. You can rent a garage, but they will bring the car to the front door, and when you return they will take your car to the garage. That is so handy, especially in inclement weather. The three meals a day are included in the rental plan, but there's no charge if you want to eat in your apartment. They will bring the meal to you at no extra charge. I checked the dining area, but I did not have a chance to check the food itself. They serve buffet style, which is very nice, instead of having a plated dinner. My husband can't walk through a buffet line, but they will have servers who can help bring his food to him at the table, so that's very helpful. They had long hallways, but otherwise the facility, common areas, and the apartments were very lovely.

We toured Maple Ridge Retirement Community, and it's very impressive. When you first walk in, there's a pond with koi and a fountain. It's pretty posh, I guess you would say. The rooms were all renovated to be brand new. They had new carpet and new appliances. They actually had full kitchens. Everything was brand new there. The person who assisted me was fine. He wanted to make sure that my mom would be comfortable and certainly did that. He was good. We walked around and there was a library and a movie theater. My mom chose not to live there because there were no people around outside doing anything.

My husband and I recently traveled from California to see his parents. They had moved into Mapleridge 4 months ago. We were fortunate to be able to stay in the guest suite, thus allowing us to get a true feel for the facility. Everything was clean, the staff was extremely kind and helpful, the rooms were spacious and bright and the food was delicious. We met a number of the residents during our stay and everyone was very friendly. Many activities were going on each day, (cards, jigsaw puzzles, movies, exercise and more). There was a feeling of family.

Maple Ridge was amazing. I found it wonderful. It was almost like a resort atmosphere. It was very large, but the people seemed to still know each other. The rooms were fine; they were OK. I think I've seen maybe better layouts, but they were not bad at all. The staff who gave me the tour was very informative and very nice. It was a great experience. That was on our list to take my father-in-law, too, because I think it would have fit him well. I like all the amenities. They have a wide variety of activities. They have a valet service for their cars. It was just unbelievable the number of activities that they have. Everything was self-contained, and they never had to go anywhere, I don't think. It's brand new and it's beautiful.

Residents are friendly and the staff is very caring. Being helpful is prime with the managers and others, and there are many activities offered each day. Valet service is offered. I love that small pets are allowed which is very important to me.

I'm in Maple Ridge and it's wonderful. They have all sorts of things: games, bingo, card games, pool, and everything you want to do. I have a balcony and they have a huge waterfall outside. It's just beautiful.

There were a lot of things I like about Maple Ridge. They have a rec and a theater room The person that showed us around was quite knowledgeable and passionate about the place. It was also pet friendly. They have a beauty salon, a barbershop, and a restaurant. The rooms were accommodating. Some of the views were nice.

We went to Maple Ridge. The staff was excellent. The managers of the building were very helpful. The guy who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. The rooms were excellent; we saw the one-bedroom and two-bedroom, and they had full kitchens, even though they provide the meals for you. They only had independent living, but they provide access to medical doctors and nurses that will come in if you need to be seen by somebody. Right from the start it was very lovely, and we were impressed. They had a lot of activities and were very accommodating about allowing my wife to bring her quilt frame, and put it in an activities area. We got to eat there, and I can't say enough good about it. They had a salad bar that was top of the line, and the food was excellent and buffet style. It was very clean, and you can see they really worked at that. The one drawback was it was too expensive.

We liked Maple Ridge very much, but the cost was high, and there was a sign-up fee. The rooms were very spacious and very nice. They have laundry services, but you can bring your own washer and dryer. They have a full kitchen. The facility was very nice and very clean, but there weren't many activities. The staff member who gave us the tour was very nice. There was a physical therapy room.

Mom is at Maple Ridge Retirement Community, and it’s a very nice, dog-friendly place. I really like that they have buffet-style dining and lots of programs. The place has nice, wide halls and is very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this place.

I liked Maple Ridge. It had, within the facility, a post office, a little pharmacy, a little bank, and a large massage spa so that my parents wouldn't have to go out for that. They don't have people there constantly, but they have someone there every day for like three hours, so you have to book ahead. They also had a nice hair salon. The colors were updated, which I know would appeal to my mom because it was bright and cheerful. It didn't have as much variety as far as floor plans, but the rooms were very spacious and very modern. They have a lot of closet space. The sanitation is very nice. It's a newer building; I'd say it's probably two years old. The residents there liked it, and they came up. My parents weren't even with me, and they were trying to sell me on it.

We've visited the place and the place looks so cold. We didn't meet very many people. They didn't introduce us to anybody and nobody else was talking in the hall. The place really seems so cold. It feels like it's just a place to stay, not something you can call a home. In this kind of stage in our life, we are actually looking for companionship and someone you can talk to and acquainted with, so this place was not a good fit..
