My wife is in CountryHouse - Omaha and it's been good. It's a nice and it's a newer facility. It's only about three years old. The rooms are very nice and good sized for one person. They have a chef, so the food has been real good. They have a library and an outside area like a courtyard that's really nice. They take them to different parks, they take them to eat pie every Wednesday, they bake cookies, they have reading, they have service dogs that come in, and they have people who play music that come in. They have a pretty good variety of activities. It's just very expensive.

We were impressed with CountryHouse - Omaha. It's great, modern, and clean. I could not find anything particularly wrong with it. The staff did a great job and were accommodating and friendly. All of our questions were answered. The residents were just getting back from a trip when we showed up. They also had cooking activities. The dining room looked clean, spacious, and comfortable.

CountryHouse is all memory care. I would recommend it. My mom has moved in, and it has been difficult for her because she can't remember why she is there. It is very hard for her; however, I can say the people are all very kind and caring. Nevertheless, sometimes, they could use more people working. The dining area is fine. I've only eaten there once, and the food is very good. They have very nice activities. They take residents places, but my mom doesn't want to get involved in activities.

As a volunteer at Country House two or more times a week I am able to see the residents at their best and worse but I am also able to see the staff ‘s reaction to many different situations. There is never a lack of attention or true caring from every member of the staff. I hear lots of laughter and oh my all the different activites. My highest complement is that I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to family and friends.

The care my mother has received there has been excellent! The staff is very invested and patient with the residents. My mother adjusted very well in a very short period of time. She is very happy and significantly less anxious than she was prior to moving in. She seems to feel very secure and safe there. The staff helped my family adjust to the transition as well. At the Country House, my mom can go anywhere in the facility, like she would in her own home. There is no sense of confinement. I would highly recommend the Country House!

We have a mother who moved from one memory support facility to this one, CountryHouse. From each and every perspective, CountryHouse was a better experience for her - and us! Their staff is the best and we found them to be completely genuine.

My Mother has been at Country House for over 2 years. For most of her life she was an active, busy and very independent woman. Then dementia crept into her life. She required care and security. I could not have picked a better place for her. She was not an "easy" resident, but with patience and kindness, she has now accepted Country House as her home. She is eating better than she has in years, has the option to do all kinds of activities if she chooses, has caregivers and staff that genuinely care about the residents. They are always available to help her during the times when she needs extra care, but also allow the residents to retain their own individual personalities. They are very efficient about medications and medical check ups and keeping an eye on any possible health issues. To see your loved ones deal with Dementia/Alzheimer is devastating, but to know they are getting such exceptional care and are safe eases the pain and worry.

I have been extremely impressed with Country House. Their entire focus is on memory support and they do it very well. The caregiver to resident ratio is excellent (about 1 to 6 days and evenings.) The food is consistently delicious and I've noticed that they serve cut up fresh fruit at many meals, if not most. There are daily creative snacks, that residents sometimes assist in making. The building itself was designed to facilitate meeting the needs of dementia residents with home-like activity and seating areas . It is beautiful, with spacious rooms and a lovely courtyard with a nice little walking trail, putting green and nicely shaded patios. They provide tons of engaging activities and outings - the full time activities director is fantastic and I have yet to come across any staff that isn't kind, considerate and thoughtful. I have heard that staff turnover can be high (which is common in long term care) but from what I've seen, the staff members seem very pleasant and do not appear stressed. They have time to truly engage with the residents -- not just meet their physical needs. They seem to be well trained in how to work effectively with dementia residents. The management staff and nurses, as well as the caregivers, have all been very helpful in assisting me to navigate the challenging transition of my loved one to life there, and I simply cannot be more satisfied or grateful.

My grandmother is at Country House Residence. It is clean. However, there is high turnover with the staff. The food is terrible. In the memory care unit, the quality of care is good, but in the assisted living, it is not. My grandmother is in the memory care now, but she was in the assisted living. I would suggestion better attention to the residents. There's a lot of my grandmother's stuff comes up missing all the time, and nobody can find it, which is odd.

I absolutely love this place! The director is incredibly responsive and the caregivers are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. I feel my dad is safe and cared for in the most loving way. It is clean, smells good, and the new chef is fantastic!
