Carrie, the current property manager is unfriendly to some residents and has stopped scheduling recreational meetings on their calendar. Answers door demanding "What do you want!" and after meeting resulted in one senior citizen leaving in tears of frustration. Since corporate has focused on the senior citizen population as potential renters, they need to show their commitment and correct this ASAP since they are continuing to raise their rents, as well.

Marcie, the current property manager will not arrange snow removal on the sidewalks surrounding the property and the seniors who live here are unable to dig out their cars after plowing. My friend/resident there is afraid to speak up because of retribution that she has witnessed, repeatedly by Marcie, towards residents who ask for help with legitimate safety issues, such as this one.

Connect55+ Omaha is an adult retirement apartment complex. They were very nice. We went and met a super nice lady there. She walked us around the community and showed us a nice apartment. It just didn't have quite as many amenities as the other place did. It was also a little bit more expensive, although it was closer to where we live and it's right across the street from a hospital, so that is a benefit to it. My father liked it because everything about it was nice. It was a nice community. He said he could live there. There were individual apartments like a senior living dorm. They all had their doors decorated. There were communal areas on each floor and a dining room where they do coffee in the mornings. They don't offer food there, but they do get-togethers like potlucks and then sometimes they all take a bus to Red Lobster or wherever. They have one- and two-bedroom apartments. My father looked at a one-bedroom. The only thing was they didn't come with a microwave or a washer and dryer. It didn't come with utilities other than cable and internet. It did have balconies. They did not have a pool. They had an exercise room and a library downstairs in the main communal area. They had a handful of books on each floor in the communal area there, which had tables and sofas, puzzles, and games. It was a little bit older though and the apartment didn't have the same amenities as the other place, but it was nice, and the residents we saw there and chatted with, were really happy.
