My Grandma fell, they did not call. This happened more then once. My Grandma was throwing up, they did not call us. We had general question that the staff chose to hear it as criticism. Family should be able to ask questions in regards to general health. The response was lacking in companion the response from Erin was "You can take her home today". People who work and CANNOT bet there 24/7 know this is a threat to accept statuesque and pushed into silencing regarding valid concerns, not a practical resolution. We placed her in a home bc we wanted around the clock care for her health and so we could be daughter and granddaughter again not bc we wanted to be pushed out of her life. They made the last months of my Grandmas life stressful.

I checked BeeHive Homes here in Missoula, and it has an Alzheimer's unit. I was not pleased with it, so I chose not to even consider it. I didn't like the look. It was dark and dingy. I didn't like the smell when I walked into the building either. I didn't like how I saw the staff taking care of the patients, so I marked that off my list right away. The person who gave me the tour runs the memory care. She was pleasant, but she's also the cook and everything. I just wasn't pleased at all. It was a brief visit for me and then I left. There was nothing going on when I was there. There was a guy sitting in front of the TV, but he was staring at his toes. And there was another resident following them around, and all they did was tousle her hair; they did not address her at all. I was just horrified. All they showed me was the bedroom, the kitchen, and the place in front of the TV; that's all they showed me. I only saw a room that was empty. They didn't have it set up yet. They also showed me where they would bathe them. I would say they need more people, for one thing, and, I guess, I just expect them to pay more attention to the patients.
