I will be moving to BeeHive Homes of Columbia Falls. I chose it because firstly, it's available, then I think it's a good fit, and I have a family up here. I like the administrator and the staff that I met up with. They were friendly and looked like they were professional. They have a good courtyard.

BeeHive Homes of Columbia Falls was very clean. The people were super friendly and the administrator especially took us on a tour, and my mom was very impressed with her. The rooms were just very plain, but you can do whatever you want with them, and that made mom more comfortable because she can make it her home. They had a full calendar of activities and they have several things every day. They have a hair stylist, foot salon and pedicures. They also have a brand new wing and it's where my mom wants to go and it's beautiful.

I was at Bee Hive. It was a private room situation. They had 30 residents and assigned sitting during meals. They did not provide transportation to doctors' appointments, so that was a problem because I had stopped driving by then.

Beehive Homes Assisted Living Center in Columbia Falls is a decent assisted living facility, successful enough to have just opened second building about six months ago. As such, the facilities are in top knotch condition, with no nothing bad to say as far as aesthetics goes. The tone/mood of the center is overall friendly. The residents themselves seem about as happy as they could be given the situation. Their bedrooms are reletively small, yet comfortable, though a bit on the hot side in my opinion. The daily activities for the residents seem fairly entertaining and wholesome, though not as many activities go on at the Beehive as other facilities I've visited, (It seems some of the bigger activities are reserved for less frequent occassions). As a whole the facility seems to run pretty well. The owner and manager seem to be on top of things and keep things running smooth. Aside from thinking this place should change out a couple of it's employees, I feel that Beehive Assisted Living is average at best. While it's nice, there is nothing that sets it apart from other homes.
