My Mom was in this facility several years ago and now my father is there. The place is very nice, with caring staff all doing a great job in the current Covid times. The staff keep in contact with relatives and all seem very professional. The menu is good, the food is delivered to the rooms, and staff are available. Much better than being in a hospital - more personalized attention here. Transportation to and from Bozeman Deaconess Hospital is available. Highly recommended. The rooms have minimal, but adequate furniture and it meets a medical need. Limited group activities at this time due to Covid.

The rooms give the patient and the family enough space to feel comfortable. The staff are among the worst. The call lights go unanswered for at least a half and hour or more. I had to call my sister to get someone to attend to me. The food is downright tasteless and disgusting. Activities are a joke and are only provided when staff feels like doing it.

We were referred to Gallatin Rest Home by some people. We went in and checked it out and we're happy with what we saw and what we heard. However, my mom did not go. It was very clean. Several people asked us if we needed help, so they were interested in meeting our needs. They were very forthcoming with information. We were only in the rehab area and the rooms were very basic. They have a TV, a bed, a dresser, and a shower. It was kind of like a hospital room. You could bring things of your own if you're going to be staying there. The beds, however, were old hospital-looking beds. They should upgrade them. In the common area, they had a person playing the piano and people were singing. They had a very large aquarium filled with beautiful fish. They also had a very nice dining room. The outside grounds were very well kept and very attractive in a very pretty area. As a whole, the thing that we like the best about this place was that the people we encountered actually seemed to care, and the second thing would be that that the facility was very clean. I would recommend this place to others, and I know several older people who have been there for rehab who also say, "Yes, it's the place to go to."
