I was in need of a place for my dad to attend that followed similar protocols that is followed at the hospital where I work. I met with the Executive Director and their Community Liaison, who eased my fear by reviewing their program, the COVID policies and protocols, especially with visitors, and allowing us to do a social distance tour. I had to return back to work, but did not want to leave my dad with just anyone or anyplace, nor place him in a nursing home. The Executive Director invited my dad to spend half the day there to see if he would like it. Well needless to say, dad now attends this center. VERY clean, compliant, he enjoys the food, as well as the devotional services, and everyone is so accommodating! I didn't think he would like, being that this is a catholic organization and we are Baptist. But dad has lead songs during devotion, he has enjoyed keeping busy, listening to music and dancing, meeting new people, and working with the staff there. They are very attentive to him. Dad also said they kept checking his temp, but its part of their process. I am so glad that my co-worker referred them. Its been two months and I can already see the difference in my dad! He thinks he is going to work and he enjoys the program.
