My friend moved into St. Andrews at New Florence nursing home in January. I have visited him once and I would have visited more, but I can't right now because of my dad. I don't know that much about it but they were very nice when I visited. The place was very easy to find, and it's a nice facility. His room was clean and nice. The staff knew what they were doing and they were very, very caring. The food that I saw prepared for him was appropriate for his needs as it has to be prepared a certain way.

Rooms are dirty and not clean. Beds not made, Rooms are not even cleaned when patients move in, left over residents belongings and rooms unkempt. Cram you in to these rooms for an outrageous amount of money! Food was all processed and not home cooked as they say. Barely any activities and or for residents to do. My family member was very lonely. But when I mentioned to staff, they shrugged and acted like they did not know what I was talking about. Took forever to answer call lights. Sad for this place was so recommended.

New Florence Nursing and Care Center is excellent. What we like best is the personal attention of the staff. The food is excellent. They have a library and game rooms. It's an older facility and maybe not quite as upscale or fancy as some of the newer facilities, but it is less expensive.

All the staff was very friendly and the care exceptional! I would choose this facility again and again.
