My mother was there. The place is older but the staff was nice and did try to care for my mother. The did her nails, her hair and she always was out in the dining room for meals. They always made room for family and friends when they came --even if 2 or more family members came--everyone would have a place to sit at the table. However, they do not have bed or chair alarms and my mother fell 3 times causing injury to her face and head. Also my mother is oxygen dependent and I visited at least 3 times a week. About 75% of the time I would come and she would be up in her wheelchair with a empty oxygen tank. I would recommend this place for a person who was wheelchair bound or could walk on their own with a steady gait. The staff was nice but I don't think they can provide high level of care for those people having "extra" needs. Oh my mother was also a hospice pt and they did work very well with the hospice staff.

My mother was at Golden Living Center for 2 days. The place was not very clean and they were always short of staff.

My dad lived here for three months and he was really sick. The staff was very kind and responsive. This is a small place and there are people there who are recovering from surgeries as well as permanent residents. That was kind of nice because not everyone was old and sick. The food was very good. They let the families eat if they were there. I think they remodeled right after my dad was there, and they did need to update. It was always clean and they had a really nice administrator named Nancy. She was great.

After my father broke his hip he went to the Golden Living for rehabilitation and physical therapy. The PT staff was very professional and knowledgable. My father who was 89 years of age was able to walk again with the aid of a walker. The facility was clean and the residents were well cared for. Golden Living was small and provided a homey atmosphere for the residents.
