My mom moved to memory care at The Waters more than two years ago, coming from a senior facility in a different state. She loves the beautiful interior and courtyard, the good food (a huge step up from her previous home), and the caring staff. She receives excellent medical care here with full-time nurses, and a doctor who visits residents in their own apartments. Staff stay in close touch with me regarding any concerns. My mom has loved attending weekly worship with the chaplain and a weekly poetry class.

The exterior is beautiful and superficially The Waters looks nice. However, if you need any supportive cares, avoid this place. My father with dementia required assisted living. Nursing and support staff seem overworked and communication is atrocious. My dad had a nearly life threatening medication error made by the staff and I had to report the facility to the state for this and other errors related to poor care. Financially this place is way more expensive than other locations that provide much better care. Read the lease closely. My dad was required to pay 6 weeks of rent after moving out despite him requiring a higher level of care that the waters couldn't provide. This has created a huge financial burden for our family and the corporate level was unwilling to compromise about this. Once my dad was settled in a different facility, I realized how awful The Waters is. I would avoid this place.

The Waters of Highland Park is absolutely beautiful. It's stunning, and the dining room is one of the highlights of the facility. The person who gave us the tour was terrific. They're smaller than the other place we toured, but it's very clean, they have very happy and very friendly residents, and really nice common spaces.

My wife was in the Waters of Highland Park for a month. It was okay and they did a nice job. Theyre very adequate in the services and amenities, and the staff was very caring and helpful. Her living quarters was adequate. The food was very good. It was not gourmet, it was institutional, but it was wholesome and tasty.

I have five 5-star reasons why I love living at the Waters of Highland Park: *1 Small by comparison and Very Friendly. * Right in the City which is where I like to be. *Washer/Dryer and Heat/AC system in each apartment. * Great variety of programs and activities for every level of interest. *Excellent array of foods and efficient service in the dining room and cafe. December 2018 is my two-year anniversary of living at The Waters. Cannot think of a better place I would want to be.

I was the 4th resident to move into the Waters in 2015, and I have liked it here very much. The calendar is full of activities; the staff is very companionable; and the food is good with a varied menu. I highly recommend people consider the Waters as their next home. Over the course of the 3 years, I've needed periodic nursing care, and its been easy to arrange.

I moved in here the end of Oct. I love it here! Everyone is so friendly. They have wonderful activities, and a van that takes you shopping. The Beauty Parlor and Spa is wonderful. The food is delicious! It is so beautiful here.
