In the two and half years my wife was a resident I have nothing but praise for the staff. Through the worst Pandemic of our lifetime the care the transparency was outstanding. She was always kept comfortable. Thru the months when myself and my family were unable to visit we knew she was in good hands. Again Thanks for everything, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers

I toured here. The place was clean and inviting. Everyone we encountered during the tour seemed friendly, and that included staff and residents. I would have liked to see a little more than just a kitchenette, maybe a range and a full fridge and a sink in the units. I know they had activity rooms, exercise rooms, a game room, a TV room, and a living room. It was all good.

When my grandmother and uncle made the decision to go to The Homestead at Maplewood, I was so sad because I thought this meant a long decline in their health and lifespan. I was so wrong! They thrived! My brother and I were reminded of our college dorm-life experiences, which were very pleasant. Everyone had their own private spaces. The community areas were inviting. The staff was incredibly pleasant, helpful and cheerful! My father spent the last months of his life with hospice care at the Homestead and again, we experienced caring attention. I will be forever grateful for the care my loved ones received, especially since I do not live in the Midwest and couldn’t visit as much as I would have liked. I knew they were in caring, capable hands.
