My mother was recently moved into assisted living at Polar Ridge. It was the best thing we could have done for her. We feel safe with her there. They help keep an eye on her when we can't. She talks about the food..all homemade. She is eating good and that's one less thing we have to worry about. The staff is GREAT and the residents are very friendly. My mom is in great hands. She is safe but most of all my mom is very happy !!

I was visiting a resident for several days. The cleanliness of the facility and the rooms is excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive, very professional. My Aunt enjoys the beauty salon being right in the building. She loves her apartment and likes having a washer and dryer of her own. The only issue I see is with the food, it seems to be hit and miss, either really good or really crummy. I was concerned on one evening there was no cook, do the residents did not get a hot meal. The servers are all very personable and know the residents by name. Perhaps I was there at a bad time. Overall I feel good care is given and the staff is all wonderful and caring.

My mom has moved into Polar Ridge. It's nice and clean. It has a nice layout. The dealings that we have had with the staff members have been very good. My mom said that the food is good too. It seems like there is a decent variety besides just the specials that they have for every meal. My mom can order off a menu, which she likes. My mom likes Polar Ridge. They have a bus to the church, and they have other outings. She hasn't done a lot of activities yet, but it seems like there are always activities going on. She has made friends already, which is good.

The one that we want is Polar Ridge. My mother has already decided on this one. They seemed nice and polite. We weren’t there long enough to really get any more other than an impression. It seemed like a nice, clean place inside. We’ve been in this area for 50 years, so that’s what makes it number 1. She is familiar with the area, it’s close to where we grew up, and people were nice. It pretty much fits what we are looking for.

Polar Ridge is in my community. I saw four people I knew, and I spoke to each of them. They spoke very highly of it. They were waiting for the bus to go to the local church. I liked that a lot. The rooms were nice and overlooked a pretty courtyard. There was a balcony where you could go and sit. The staff was very friendly.

We are wowed by the staff at Polar Ridge, and my mom is very pleased. They have three nurses on staff. My mom has COPD, so that is very important for us. The cafeteria area is very nice and offers some great things. They are very active and do things within the facility and outside the facility. She is on the fourth floor and feels safe and happy. Nobody is above her for noise, and she has some good views. Her room as big walk-in closets, which are the size of some people’s bathrooms. She has a hospital bed, and she talks about putting her bed in the closet. The bedroom itself is 13x13, so it is in a nice size, and she has a full kitchen and an in-room washer & dryer. That is really important for us because of my mother’s disability.
