My husband is at The Villas at Roseville right now. I have kind of mixed feelings. When I speak to the people, they are very warm and give a lot of information, but I have a hard time getting them to call me back. I called for an important reason yesterday morning, and I still haven't heard back. I'm sure they're short staffed, so it's not that easy. I just don't think the communication is what it should be. The garbage in his room isn't always emptied every day. When you walk in the bathroom that he shares, your feet stick. For the most part, when I have interaction with the staff, they have been very pleasant and accommodating. However, I asked to have a therapist call me because there seems to be issues with that, but I never had a therapist call me back. When you have a care meeting, they're like, "Well, he (my husband) doesn't participate, so we're not going to help him anymore." I'm like, "Why weren't you telling me that when I'm calling?" I saw an activity calendar there. I know he's been invited to go down and do things. They have a small dining area. Then off that, they have just an open room where there is a television, and you are basically in a hall.
