My husband has moved into The Preserve at Roseville. My son helped find out which places sounded the best and he thought The Preserve did, so I went and checked it out and I agreed. He's been in there about a week, and it's the best place I could have put him. It's amazing. What I like best is the friendliness of the people working there, the ability to go and sit with a lot of other people, play games, and eat lunch. It was just a very friendly, clean atmosphere, and they were well taken care of there. Everyone that I have seen or been in touch with has been helpful and kind, and I'm amazed at the way they are behaving. They have community rooms where they can get together and do jigsaw puzzles and a lot of other activities. They have a movie room where they can choose to pick a movie and it'll be run and they can sit and watch movies together. It's just a very impressive place. They're all very high priced to try to take care of your loved ones, but I have found much higher than them. There's a couple that are cheaper than them, but I'm afraid he wouldn't get the care that he needed. At one point, I had put my sister in assisted living a few years ago, and comparing that place with this one, this place is amazing.

My dad has moved into The Preserve at Roseville. The reason I chose them is because of how active the staff were and how they were able to get the necessary paperwork and records so that we could transfer him there. They were very helpful. The place is nice and clean. It's well up kept. There are lots of activities. They get all the meals prepared by a chef, and it's very nice and well-organized and easy for someone with my dad's limitations to understand. They have music days, they have different arts and crafts, and they had a Christmas party recently. They have a music room. They have just moved in a piano. I have not eaten there, but my dad says the food is wonderful and looks fantastic. The staff shows a lot of care and attention to detail for the residents. With the actual assistants, they have been very helpful in arranging appointments. There's a doctor on staff who comes in once a week, and he's wonderful as far as explaining things and checking up on them.

The Preserve at Roseville was fairly new and so the staff was new. I think they were just bought a year ago by a new company or so, but the place was great. It was absolutely beautiful. The couple of people I met were great. I met the receptionist and the marketing person and they did their job. They were nice. They had their own washer and dryer in their rooms, but there were also a lot of different open gathering places. They had a nice deck that overlooks the nature preserve. It was beautiful, it was clean and the rooms were fantastic.

The Preserve of Roseville had a two-bedroom apartment available, which was appealing to us as a place for mom and dad. There would be opportunities for mom to do things there and they also had several different workout opportunities, like chair yoga and some other things. They could either go into the dining facility and sit by just the two of them or with other people, or have their breakfast in their apartment if they wanted to. We felt very comfortable with the staff and the gentleman who showed us around, as well as the location, being right across from a park, as my parents are big walkers, so that appealed to them. The gentleman was very friendly, very open, and he seemed to know everybody in the facility. Anybody we walked past in the hall, all seemed very pleased to see and greet him, which made us feel more comfortable. They had a patio that overlooked a large expanse of green space that was not buildable, so it would always have a nice view.

My sister will be moving into The Preserve of Roseville. We've toured all three levels but have decided on the memory care for my sister. It's very clean, friendly, very nice, and has a homey feel. I liked everything about it. I liked the activities director, and the staff was friendly. They greeted us as we walked around. It was a very good community. I didn't see them in action as far as caring for my sister. Until she's in there and I see how they interact with her, I can't give them a higher rating. The staff introduced themselves. I got to talk to the activities director to see what kind of outings they do, and what kind of activities they do in-house. My sister is going into the memory care unit, and they have a director just for that unit for activities for the memory care. They do all sorts of activities, they do outings, card games, memory games, and stuff like that.

My sister recently moved into the Preserve of Roseville because I was no longer able to care for her or keep her safe in my home. The staff welcomed our family and made my sister feel at home and comfortable. She immediately pariticipated in the fitness class and programs offered. This is such a relief to know she does not need to cook, clean or worry about her personal needs or medications, it's all done for her. So far, we are pleased with how she is doing.
