My husband is in a facility called Northwinds Memory Care in Perham. They're not always on top of his diapering. There's been quite a few times that he's been wet and no one has tried to help him. That's the biggest thing that annoys me. What I like about it is that it's sunny. It has 12 rooms in a kind of circle where you can walk around, which lots of people do. I have also tried their food and it's very good. They have activities that he does not participate in very much, but he does like to play bingo and play pool. It's just pool cues and a ball, and he likes that. He's a bookhound and has been all his life, so he has a huge library, a big bookcase, in his room that's full of his hardcover books. He spends a lot of time just doing that, so he doesn't participate too much in what's going on. Like this afternoon, they have a happy hour that they all go down to but he doesn't like that. I think I may have expected too much but there are times in the 9 months he's been there that things haven't gone right or that he's fallen out of bed. There's good and then there's bad. With the staff, some are good and there are also some who are not good at all.
