I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Our experience with Ecumen Emmanuel was wonderful from start to finish. The staff was very friendly, helpful, caring and attentive to our father’s needs. Our father was determined not to spend any time in a nursing facility, but finally accepted that he needed rehab assistance. He connected with staff immediately and met another resident who attended the same school over 80 years ago. They had a wonderful time reminiscing about the school, candy store and people including future wife of my dad’s brother. We are very grateful for the wonderful care and positive experience our father enjoyed.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband was at Ecumen Detroit Lakes in the Emmanuel building for rehab, but he couldn't stay there because they don't have assisted living any longer. The best I liked was the therapy and the therapists. On one out of five, the nursing care was about a three, therapy would've been a five.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My husband was at Emmanuel Nursing Homes on and off for five months, and I really liked their TCU. They had very nice private rooms with lots of space. They had a really fantastic physical therapy area and PT staff and a beautiful chapel. Their long-time cook retired, so it's not quite as good as it was before, but it's OK. If you need physical therapy, it's an excellent place to choose. There was a swimming pool, daily activities, several courtyards to walk in, music groups coming in, and games.
