I feel all the staff at Providence Care Facility are compassionate and loyal to serving the residents . The staff is competent and responsive to residents needs. The food and service is acceptable nutritious and occasionally very good . The facility is very clean and without exceptions , passes the smell test at entry and through out the facility. This was the only care facility of 25 that would accept my wife with complicated medical issues to heal open wounds and physical and occupational therapy staff are understanding and helpful with a severe limited resident Sincerely tom g

This is the worst facility my aunt was ever in and worse than any facility I have been in. The nurses that perfomed care did a good job once it was pointed out to them what was wrong (legs and arms so dry the skin was peeling). The facility does not supply lotions. OT asked to provide activities and supplies and upon discharge would not allow us to take them home with us. We paid about $100.00 for those things. Still fighting to get them back because the facility claims they belong to the facility. It took days and many scratches before staff would cut nails (asked 3 times over 3 visits). PT intermittent at best. Dr. unavailable to meet with re: medication errors. Discharge plans verbally given did not match actual written plans. Some staff behavior was cavalier/unprofessional (didn't take requests for help seriously). Luckily we got my aunt out of there before I had to call in the Ombudsman to mediate. There is more but too many things for this format.

I had never been in a nursing home so I was afraid. I was paralyzed and now I am walking. This facility was clean, and the staff mostly would help when you need help.

My parents went to Providence Place nursing home before my father died. It's very clean, the staff are very caring. My dad was 90 and living independently up until he broke his hip, so nothing is as good as home. But I would recommend this facility.
