The Cardinal Pointe of Maplewood seemed like they didn't have as many group activities going on as some of the others, but that's okay for me. It's pretty much independent living there and no assisted living. You also have to be over 55 to get in. They have meetings and social gatherings, but it's not like "today it's this and that". They kind of let you live independently and make your own plans. The size of the apartments is good and they all have a washer and dryer in them. They're very nice. Also, when you've picked to get into a place and it needs carpeting or anything, you get a say-so on what they put in, as far as coloring and that sort of thing. I was impressed, I'd put down money on it. They have a community room and a dining room that you can rent. They also have a guest room.

We toured Cardinal Pointe of Maplewood and some of the rooms. We liked them, and the way theyre funded. Its very nice; you can tell its not top of the line, but it would be adequate and economical for a senior facility. The staff was very helpful and very pleasant, and we enjoyed our tour. The dining area looked clean and neat. Most of the activities were games and cards because they didnt have a physical fitness area.
