My mom is a resident of St. Andrew's Village. It's affiliated with my church in St. Andrews Lutheran church. My mom moved about 2 weeks ago. They are very, very well organized. It's very nice, it's a studio, she's in a memory care. They have activities every day. There's no pool, but they have like a TV area, where they can watch movies together, there's a church right in the area, right within their complex. They have hairdressing. My mom just had her hair done today. They have like a canteen where people can get other things to snack on, which is a refrigerated like canteen. But now that we have Covid, it's very limited with their ability to move around in the whole facility. Because they have 3 sections there, assisted living, memory care living, and regular apartments. And they don't inter mingle those people, because the people in regular apartments can come and go as they pleased. So, it's very restricted right now. So, they are not able to go in and out of each area. She gets the highest care of memory care. She's only been there for 2 weeks. My mother really likes the food. It's a convenient closed area, the services that my mother is receiving are very good. And there's a lot of trees and scenery for her to look outside her window, there's a little pond. It's very lovely, and very clean, and that's really important to us.

St. Andrew's Village Mahtomedi is right across the street from my sister's. We entered through the front door. We kind of got to see all of the levels of care that they have, but the focus is on assisted living and memory care. Both were very nice. My sister was just a bit overwhelmed by the size of the place. It's leading us to think maybe we have to go a little bit smaller. We liked the apartment and everything, but she said that it's just too fancy and it's just too big. We kind of crossed that off right away. The tour was very nice though, and we had a very nice lady showing us around. They have a lot to offer there, but she just wasn't so impressed with them. It wasn't anything that the place did. Everything looked beautiful, and there were a lot of nice facilities and nice gathering rooms. It just was a little bit too much. I thought there was more than what she needed. The place has a very nice layout. The area around it is very nice, and you can go out for walks. She lives across the street from it now and in a senior apartment, so she's very familiar with the area. It's also close to a lot of things, but yet it's really kind of secluded. They have a nice park and nice outside places to sit.

I’ve already applied at St. Andrew’s Village. I love it. I toured with my daughter, and she loved it too. However, they don’t have an opening for subsidized housing. The coordinator for the rental would be the top gal to talk to. She was very kind and very nice. I looked at everything and liked everything I saw. She showed me one of three subsidized apartments. The facility was very updated. They had meals that you could buy. It cost you $100 a month but you would get 10 meals and free breakfast.

We had my mother-in-law at St. Andrew’s Village. The facility seemed pleasant and welcoming. Everyone I encountered was helpful and nice. We had Easter dinner there, and the food was good. I saw some of their scheduled events, which looked good. It’s the best place I’ve seen.

I went to St. Andrews Village. My visit was good. I would probably consider that place if my mom will move up here. It is close to my house, and it has assisted living and memory care all in the same place. They also have a nurse onsite, I think, and they might bring a doctor to visit there too. I like St. Andrews Village a lot.

this Agency is one of the finer establishments i have visited. the staff is friendly, always willing to help out a new resident. they even carried my bags and gave me a tour! the accommodations are quaint. they're not as big as i'd like, but that the way the cookie crumbles. The food here is delicious. those cooks certainly know what they are doing. And if you're looking for something to do, they have loads of activities, anything from line dancing classes, to prayer sessions, to outdoor shuffleboarding tournaments. All in all, St. Andrews is an Agency that knows what it's doing. they have a wonderful staff, excellent activities program, wonderful accommodations for the active senior citizen, and a desire to care for and help their clients. i'd recommend this place as second to none in a heartbeat, knowing the hard-working professionals at the agency know how to do their job, and do it in a manner that is both friendly and efficient.
